Tiffanee is an Expanded Functional Dental Assistant who started her profession in 2010 and joined Dr. Papagayo's team in 2013. Tiffanee enjoys making patients feel comfortable throughout various procedures while utilizing modern techniques and equipment.
Anna is a dental assistant with expanded functions certification and is professionally trained in the latest technologies in patient care and comfort. She is also trained in front office including insurance and patient accounts. She has been with Dr Papagayo since his office opened in 2006.
Jessica works as the Dental Assistant. She makes sure that all instruments are clean and properly sterilized before use. Jessica graduated in Central High School as an A+ student. She goes to Ozarks Technical Community College and in her sophomore year of nursing. She was ten years old when she first dreamt of becoming a nurse. Jessica loves reading, singing and eating.
Im Tara. I have lived in Missouri for most of my life. I knew I wanted to be an assistant since eighth grade and Im really happy to be working with such a wonderful team! I like to cook, be outdoors, and enjoy live music in my free time.
Dr. Papagayo is a graduate of University of Missouri at Kansas City dental school, one of the best in the country. He has been a dentist for years and has been through several post graduate courses in different fields of dentistry since receiving his DDS degree. He is currently an active member of American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association and Greater Springfield Dental Society.
His emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry enable him to provide his patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Papagayo has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical treatments and root canal treatments.

always have a great experience here. i have the option to go somewhere else for free but prefer to go here since i trust this office and think that their honesty with treatment plans will end up costing less in the long run.

A trip to the dentist is not something that I generally look forward to. I always leave this office smiling. Dr. P and the staff are so very kind. I feel like they are always happy to see me. Thanks for taking such great care of me!

Everytime we need a service done we pay whatever fee is needed up front. A month will pass and we get a bill in the mail saying we owe more money when they already gave us a price for everything and we already paid what was needed. This place is a SCAM!! They should not charge people until they know what full and total cost is going to be this isn't fair for people who are struggling and are pay check to pay check.

The office is clean and beautifully decorated. Dr. Papagayo makes sure his patients are comfortable, even if it means waiting while they calm down. I always feel on edge going to the dentist. They scrape around in your mouth. That is the nature of the profession. Dr. Papagayo always makes me feel like my comfort is of the upmost priority. He always pauses his instruments when he sees that I am tensing up. He's not going to do anything that you're uncomfortable with. He and his staff explain things in a way that is easy to understand. I have even learned some things that have helped me maintain better dental hygiene and I am healthier for it.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Papagayo and his sweet dental assistant, Tara (I believe that is her name )! They are communicative, gentle, and relational. I don't feel anxiety when I'm in the dentist chair because I know they will ask me several times if I am okay and how my pain level is, if I'm hurting, etc. I usually am always out of the office in less than an hour unless I have a lot of work to get done. They are thorough and ask me questions to make sure I'm satisfied with my experience. They first gave me an amazing crown on the front of my mouth. They then filled 5 cavities in one day for me and it went well. That same day they also helped adjust my retainer because I hadn't been able to wear it in over a month because of other work. Dr. Papagayo remembered I had mentioned a vacation I was taking two or three weeks before and he remembered where I went and asked about it! And his assistant Tara sat with me and talked for 30 minutes or so, asking me questions about my job and just making me feel so at home. Trying out a new dentist is always nerve-wracking, but I'm thankful I made the choice to take the chance with Dr. Papagayo! :) May the Lord be with him, his staff, and his business. p.s. Dr. Papagayo also loves to make you laugh and enjoys laughing!

I love the office of Dr. Papagayo. His office is very warm and inviting, the receptionist Is so kind and welcoming. His dental assistant is the sweetest lady and called me by name and made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Papagayo is the best!!! I love his warm personality and the way he explains things so well. I would recommend his office to anyone who is looking for a dentist

I can't say enough about Dr. Papagayo and his staff. Dr. Papagayo has always been aware of and respects my "dental anxiety" Never once have a felt uncomfortable in his care. I also know 100% he will not do unnecessary procedures.

I have had a good fortune of having Dr. Papagayo as my dentist in Springfield, MO for a very long time. He has taking care of the entire family. We trust his work and his advice, and all of his work has been outstanding. He is a very caring person as well.

Had a hard fall face plant, while traveling. Dr Papagayo's office scheduled me a Saturday visit, as soon as I was home from vacation. My mouth is full of stitches, which Dr Papagayo gently worked around. Put a temporary tooth in place until permanent crown can be restored. You will not find a more compassionate or kind dentist anywhere. He is simply outstanding.

We have been going to Dr. Papagayo for a long time! Over 11 years. Recently I had to switch my kids dentist bc of insurance change and they are NOT happy and neither am I! Dr. Papagayo Cares and isn't going to try to break the bank on unnecessary treatment. Office staff is great as well as dental hygienist and dental assistants! 1st choice in the area!
