Now, we welcome families from Herriman, Riverton, Bluffdale, South Jordan, and other near-by communities. I see my patients everywhere, whether Im out shopping or at dinner with my family. Thats what it means to live and work in a community.
I know what I do well and what other people can do better. If someone can do it better than I can, then a referral is whats best for you. This is why I have a network of skilled professionals that I trust to care for my patients.
We understand how important it is to feel at home and cared for, so Dr. Thornell enjoys providing a personal touch to your care. Well do all that we can to ensure youre comfortable and relaxed when you visit.
Dr. Rodney Thornell has always enjoyed working with people and had a special interest in the sciences. Initially I wanted to be a family therapist, but once I started observing with my dentist I fell in love with it!
Dr. Thornell graduated from dental school at the University of Louisville, a top 10 school for dentistry that focused on a family friendly environment. I hold the school in very high regard and when needed Ill refer my patients to other Louisville-trained doctors, because I know they are skilled and professionals in the dental field.
When hes not at work, Dr. Thornell is often still providing dental care. Through a number of missionary programs and through the Give Kids a Smile Program, Dr. Thornell donates free dental services to children who are in need of dental care but whose families cant afford to pay for it. He also spends time supporting the local Boy Scouts.
In order to be the best, you have to learn from the best. There is always some scientific advancement, new materials, and new techniques. Through my education, I find a better way of doing something that is more effective and lasts longer. My work keeps getting better, and thats better for you.

Most thorough dental exam I've ever had. Dr. Thornell took his time, explaining dental health and concerns with me. The technology he uses makes it easy to understand and see with my own eyes what is going on in my mouth. I've never had a dentist take so much time on education. Very glad I made the switch to this doctor. The office is beautiful and the staff couldn't have been nicer!

I really like Dr. Thornell and everyone who works in the office. They're kind and gentle when cleaning teeth, and explain things to you clearly. The office itself is also trendy and modern. One of my favorite things is that each time I go, it feels like they have some great new thing they recommend you try, form a mouth wash to a new teeth sealant.

Dr. Thornell and his staff are terrific. In more than a decade of visits, I've only had one bad experience. But he assured me that my tongue would grow back, and it did. So it's all good.

This is THE BEST dentist visit I have ever had! Dr. Thornell and his team are absolutely wonderful. They made me feel so comfortable and confident the whole time. Their technology and service are seriously miles ahead of everyone else I have seen. I can say for once in my life that I am actually looking forward to my next visit instead of dreading it. The staff is amazing and makes it such a wonderful experience! My 3 year old son loves going to the dentist now and can't wait to go back! Dr. Thornell is awesome and makes sure all your questions are answered.

Dr. Thornell and his staff are great. My family has been coming here for a few years now and each visit has been great. The girls on staff are so nice and Dr. T has given us some great suggestions to help with my kids and their habits! My kids love going to the dentist, especially because they get a token at the end for a prize!
