Dr. Baiers graduation from dental school was the first step in his continuing-education journey. He keeps himself at the forefront of dental knowledge through advanced training at various postgraduate facilities such as The Pankey Institute, a nonprofit educational center for dentists in Key Biscayne, FL, and at Spear Education, a continuing-education Institute in Scottsdale, AZ that serves the striving dentist; those who are dedicated to the pursuit of clinical excellence that transforms their practices and the lives of their patients. These programs have inspired Dr. Baier to continually improve his dental practice, and each is special to him.
The Pankey Institute combines advanced dental training and practice-management techniques with peer-to-peer learning to keep Dr. Baier up-to-date with every aspect of the best practices for patient care. The Institutes curriculum is about experiencing life-changing discussions, new challenges, and innovative approaches in a supportive environment that impacts all aspects of practice and life. Dr. Baier believes that talking with peers and mentors at the Institute helps him develop a personal philosophy of practice that leads to a healthy, balanced life for him and better care for his patients.
As a specially invited visiting faculty member at Spear Education, Scottsdale, AZ, Dr. Baier is one of 200 dentists worldwide invited to work with thousands of students. At the campus, he learns and shares with fellow professionals who volunteer extensive time and energy to pursue excellence through continuing education. He takes courses and commits his time and resources to facilitate the learning of others through his service as a mentor and course leader. He and his fellow faculty members share their journeys and experiences by completing and submitting a complete case report each year, adding to the educational resources available to everyone who participates in Spear Education programs. Dr. Baier and his technology suppliers provide extensive training for the office staff to ensure patients fully benefit from the offices resources.
Going beyond technology, Dr. Baier regularly participates in online and on-site training programs, where he and colleagues exchange best-practices information. He holds frequent training sessions in the office to keep his staff up to date with the latest techniques, technology and health-and-safety practice standards set by the industry.
Having my wisdom teeth removed in my 20s sparked my commitment to helping people live better lives through better dental health. I have an undergraduate degree in marketing and was working in sales when I visited a friend a dentist in Miami to have my wisdom teeth removed. I spent the entire day at his office and was amazed by the level of care he provided his patients in a friendly office environment. I immediately decided I wanted to help others and become a dentist and began taking the required science courses for entry into dental school. Six years after obtaining my undergraduate degree I returned to West Virginia University, my alma mater, to attend their dental school and became a proud graduate of the WVU School of Dentistry.
Brooke is Dr. Baiers Office Manager. She joined the team in 2013. Brooke was born in Texas Hook em Horns before moving to Georgia as a young child. She grew up in Powder Springs, GA, and attended McEachern High School, and graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Sociology. Most of her career was spent in the Event Planning arena before changing careers and entering the dental field. She grew up in a dental family, her step-father is a dentist and her mother, a hygienist. Brooke and her husband Aaron have a beautiful daughter, Kennedy, who they have been trying to keep up with since 2016.
Sabrina is Dr. Baiers assistant and has been working along side him since 2011. She attended the Concord Career Institute in 1998. Sabrina was born in Miami, FL and moved to Freeport, Grand Bahamas. She spent most of her life in South Florida before moving to Atlanta with her husband Marcel in 2006. They have two beautiful daughters Bianca and Samantha. Sabrina enjoys hiking, running and spending time with family.
Elayna grew up in Washington State where she spent most of her life. In 2016, she received her Dental Hygiene Degree from Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. She then lived in California for a few years. 2019 was a exciting year as she was married in Hawaii and then she and her husband Nick moved to Georgia. Elayna loves to bake, travel, shop, and spend time with her sweet yorkie pup, Dexter.
