Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a specialized branch of dentistry dealing with diagnosis, surgery and treatment of illnesses, injuries and defects involving both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the mouth and face.
Dr. Roberto J. Deloso earned his dental degrees from the University of the Philippines College of Dentistry in 1986 and Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in 1991. He served his General Practice residency at University of North Carolina Hospital and his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Highland Hospital and Alameda County Medical Center. Sharing Dr. McDonald's mission of compassionate surgical excellence in a relaxed, healing environment, he joined her practice as an associate in 1997 and became a partner in 1998.
Dr. Deloso is the Co-Director and Coordinator of the Delta Study Club. A member of the Contra Costa Dental Society, the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and International College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Deloso is an active member of the Antioch Rotary Club and served as President from 2008-2009.He is married to Dr. Jessica Deloso, his favorite dentist whom he enjoys traveling and trying new cuisines with. In his free time, Dr. Deloso enjoys gardening and occasionally playing golf with his friends. Dr. Deloso has also taken a liking to running, and has ran over 50 marathons along with two full marathon.
Dr. Matt Chroust is dual degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing in Antioch. He completed his undergraduate education in his home state of Minnesota before moving to San Francisco to obtain his dental degree from UCSF. He continued his training at UCSF, completing a one year general surgery rotation and obtained his medical degree from UCSF. He competed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of California,San Francisco with experience in facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, anesthesia and treatment of pathology in addition to dentoalveolar surgery. He is passionate about patient care and always strives for every patient to have a comfortable experience.
Dr. Chroust is a registered California Dental Continuing Education provider, a member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
On a personal level, Dr. Chroust was recently married in a small, 12 person, pandemic wedding to Amanda Wu and couldnt be happier. He loves spending time in the kitchen cooking with Amanda, spending time with family and exploring all that California has to offer.
