Growing up on the Coast, I split time between running around on Back Bay and going to school at St. Martin. From the time I was young, I knew the I wanted to be in Health Care. I knew I wanted to own my own business, but most of all I knew that I wanted to live here, on the Coast. When I graduated from St. Martin High School, I attended the University of Mississippi and received a Secondary Education degree with a Minor in Chemistry. I taught school for 2 years at Biloxi Jr. High before being accepted to the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 2007. Four years later, I left Jackson and returned to the Coast where I worked as an associate for 2 years. Finally, In 2013 I achieved a dream by opening my current office in St. Martin. That same year I married my wife, Shanel. Together we have 4 children: Gavyn, Kenner, Riggs, and Anne Ramsey. Here at our practice our team's goal is to deliver exceptional Dental Care to treat the needs of you, our patients. I consider myself lucky to be able to serve the people of the Gulf Coast.
Dr. Dennis Cao was born and raised on the gulf coast. He graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelors degree in Radiologic Sciences and continued his education at the University of Mississippi Medical Center to earn his degree in dentistry in 2017. Upon completion, he moved back home to the gulf coast in order to serve and give back to his community. Dr. Cao believes in treating each patient with respect and compassion. Understanding that every patient is different, Dr. Cao strives to make sure every treatment plan is something the patient understands and is comfortable with. Outside of dentistry he enjoys traveling, snowboarding, gaming, and spending time with friends and family.
Amy has been a part of the Southern Magnolia Team since 2017 as our Insurance Coordinator. Her professional care to each individual naturally creates long term relationships with our patients. She currently lives in Pass Christian and has three daughters. When she is not working, Amy enjoys reading and loves to go camping.
Michelle is a life-long resident of the Gulf Coast and attended undergraduate at Mississippi State University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Communications. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2012. Michelle has been with our team since 2014 and now serves as the office manager. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and keeping up with MSU sports. Michelle lives in Biloxi with her husband and two boys. (enjoys attending boy's sports events, spending time with friends and family)
Yen joined the Southern Magnolia team in Feb. 2016. She received her professional training through Meridian Community College. Yen is a highly motivated dental hygienist who is passionate about educating her patients in proper oral healthcare and helping them understand the importance of their oral health. She thoroughly enjoys working with her patients. When not working, Yen enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
Danielle is a dental assistant at Southern Magnolia Smiles and has been part of the team since 2018. She strives to educate our patients about dental care and hygiene. She currently lives in Gulfport. When she is not working, she loves to paint, read, and cook in her freetime.
Since 2018, she has been providing our patients professional and personal care. As the lead dental assistant, Becca loves helping patients become confident with their smile and achieve the best oral health. She lives in Pass Christian with her husband. She has 4 children and 2 beautiful grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys reading and cooking.
Nikki has joined our team in 2021 as a dental assistant. She has a strong passion to help people optimize their oral health. She currently lives in Gautier with her two sons. In her free time, she enjoys taking part in volunteer work and cheering on her sons at their sporting events.
Cam has joined the Southern Magnolia Smiles team in 2020 as a dental assistant. She takes pride in helping our patients achieve their goals with their dental care. She currently lives in Biloxi. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her nephew. When she is not working, you can find Cam in the kitchen trying new recipes or starting a new organization task.
Mak is a graduate of Meridian Community College in 2016. Mak has been part of our team since 2021. As a healthcare professional, he dedicates himself to provide quality care to patients, promoting oral health. Beyond his work as a Dental Hygienist, Mak enjoys music, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Insists on doing work that does not need doing. Not impressed. My mom was quoted an amount, and they insisted on double what they'd quoted. They were suppose to handle it with her dental insurance, but they botched that up. She asked to speak to the doctor but was told "No" It's the, "My way or the highway" mentality. They certainly hosed my mom for $$$. Shame on them! Go elsewhere!

Minimal wait, hygienist is very thorough and very pleasant. Dentist is very professional and takes time to explain and listen. Been coming here for several years.

Excellent and professional staff. Service was top notch. All my questions were answered, and my procedures were done quickly and painlessly. Minimal time spent in the waiting room. Highly recommended.

About a year Tried to charge for stuff that is covered my insurance. Well today i go in to appt to be told after i have an xray an all that. They will do test on my tooth but will not see me cause last time they where fearful of me cause i walked out when they tried to rip me off. Plus the lady a year ago was rude an broke the tooth more than what it was before i went in. An. People wonder why. Folk dont like the dentist Funny thing is my whole family was going to this place never again

Dr. Williams is a very professional and caring dentist. He listens to your concerns and works with you to correct your dental issues. Michelle is a very good dental hygienist. The staff are friendly and helpful and work with you promptly on scheduling, rescheduling, and reminders.
