Dr. Landman, also known as Dr. L, is a native New Yorker with more than 32 years of experience in the dental field. His journey towards his dream profession started at Stony Brook University in New York where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology. In 1989, he graduated from Tufts University where he became a Doctor of Dental Medicine. And since 1992, hes absolutely loved caring for Mahopac families as the founder and owner of Landman Dentistry by the Lake.
Dr. L is an approachable, patient-focused dentist whos passionate about providing each individual with top-tier service. In addition to his specialized skills in dental implants, crowns, and oral surgery, he invests in state-of-the-art dental tools to ensure you and your loved ones receive only the best care at his office. Doing whats right is at the heart of his practice, so you can always count on honest, understanding guidance when youre with Dr. L.
When hes not treating patients, he enjoys playing ice hockey and powerlifting at the gym. You can also catch him competing in Obstacle Course Racing hes participated in the OCR World Championships every year as an age group racer since 2015!

Are you a nervous and anxiety ridden dental patient? I was! Going to the dentist used to be a "Nightmare on Elm Street". And of course my teeth suffered. My wife determined and incessant, forced me to go ....... Little did I know that she had sent me to a Dental Wizard. Dr. Landman. He and his kind and dedicated staff wished me through painless procedures and cured my teeth and my dental phobia. Now I can smile again.

I've been going to this office for many years. Nadira has been my hygienist and she is the best.! I have gone from having "white knuckles" during my cleanings to closing my eyes and relaxing . I am very happy with the level of care I receive from Dr. Landman - he has treated me for everything from fillings to an implant. I get very nervous when I have to go for a procedure, he is very patient, explains things to me and follows up with me afterward. The office staff is very accomodating, they have always managed to get me in for an emergency. This is a great office, excellent, knowledgeable, patient and caring doctor and staff. I highly recommend them!

I have been a patient at Landman Dentistry for many years and highly recommend this office. The staff is great, specifically Dr. Landman's hygienist Lucia. The office is absolutely beautiful- clean and welcoming atmosphere! The entire staff is friendly and professional. Our hygienist Lisa is the best. She eased my young daughter's fears when going to the dentist for the first time. Now she is excited to go every time because of how kind and caring Lisa and Dr. Landman are with her! The best dentist practice around, I always see nadir the hygienist she is so friendly and polite, it is a very friendly atmosphere in that place, everyone always welcomes you, and ask how you are doing, and by far the best place for a teeth cleaning, you will not be disappointed

Very friendly staff and very good dentist!!! I had a dental emergency during lockdown and he came and opened his office even though I never used him before. Now my husband and son use Dr.Landman.
