Each member of our treatment team is a registered hygienist or assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars. We are a fee for service office; however, if you have dental insurance, we will bill your insurance as a courtesy so that you can receive your reimbursement directly from your dental insurance carrier. Although you are responsible for your account, we will attempt to help you receive insurance benefits and we encourage you to contact us if your policy has not paid within 60 days.
If treatment is recommended for your child, the treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered. Charges are payable at the time of treatment and we accept American Express, Visa, and MasterCard. We also accept personal checks and cash. Please ask a member of our staff and we will review our payment options to accommodate your financial needs or if any special arrangements are needed prior to receiving service.
Dr. Robert Peracchia earned his dental degree at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario Canada. He continued his training with post-graduate residencies in Pediatric Dentistry and Hospital Dentistry at the University of Washington in Seattle and Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. This allowed Dr. Peracchiato develop greater expertise in all areas of pediatric dental treatment.
Regularlyattending continuing education courses enables Dr. Peracchia to stay at the forefront of his specialty so that he can provide optimal care to his patients. He attends courses focusing on dental technology, materials, technique and orthodontics so that the most current options are available to his patients. Dr. Peracchia is a board certified pediatric dentist of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the New York County Dental Society.
Dr. Youngerman is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. She considers it a privilege to provide the highest level of dental care for children and families and strives making every visit a fun and positive experience.
Prior to dental school, Dr. Youngerman graduated with honors from Tufts University with a B.A. in International Relations. Her interest in the field continued with work on oral health initiatives in India and Kenya. Dr. Youngerman resides in New Yorks Upper West Side with her husband Brett and dog, Gracey and enjoys traveling, yoga, and cooking.
She completed her specialty training at Columbia University/New York- Presbyterian Hospital, where she received her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. There she received extensive didactic and clinical training in all aspects of pediatric dentistry, including restorative dentistry, hospital dentistry, anesthesia, behavior management, and care for patients with special needs.
Dr. Alexis works at New York University College of Dentistry as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Departments of Pediatric Dentistry and Epidemiology and in the office of global outreach. She travels globally with the NYU global outreach team providing preventive dental care and dental treatment around the world. In the last few years alone, she has worked on oral health programs in Chile, Nepal, India, Mexico, Ecuador, and Maine. Dr. Alexis loves seeing the world and learning about new cultures and she is thrilled to be doing so while bettering the oral health of the communities she visits. As a child her favorite movie was Annie, and to this day she believes that, youre never fully dressed without a smile. Dr. Alexis hopes that by brining healthy smiles to children, they will be empowered, more confident, and better equipped to take on lifes challenges.

Jen was amazing. She explained everything step by step not only to me but to my 2 year old! She respected my toddler as a person and treated her with compassion which made the process easy. Dr. Rob is inviting and easy going. He is soft spoken but upbeat which is great for children. My 2 year old raves about the dentist and checked my teeth 40 times after the visit. I would say this was a success!

I normally never write reviews but I really have to give Dr. Peracchia and his team a big thank you for taking care of my kids for the last four years. My son struggles so much with dentists yet the team is all so patient handling him. All the practices at this clinic seem the most optimal and most up to date. Beautiful and clean office. It's so hard to find a good pediatric dentist... Look no further! They are phenomenal! I wish I knew about them before. My dentist, who I trust, highly recommended them for my little one. We saw Dr. Alexis and Cara - they are amazing... I am just so happy and relieved that my child is in great hands now.

CPW Pediatric Dentistry is amazing!!! We love all the doctors and hygienists there. They are always giving great advise, provide excellent preventative care and are knowledgeable about any new discoveries and technologies.
