Dr. Angela Chai, DMD is a caring and compassionate dentist from Vancouver, Canada. Dr. Chai has been helping patients for years in the Greater Edmonton area before making a decision to relocate to Santa Cruz.
Anna has been a part of the Santa Cruz Family Dentist team for the past 20 years. She is a graduate of the Cabrillo College Dental Hygiene program. Anna loves caring and interacting with the patients at Santa Cruz Family Dentist. When she is not at work you can find her enjoying life hiking and going to the beach.
Beth has been working with Dr. Matiasevich since 2007. She loves helping patients get the smile theyve always wanted. In her free time, Beth enjoys going to the movies with her husband and doing lots of arts and crafts around the house.
Mitchell joined our team in 2015. He is Dr. Matiasevichs treatment coordinator as well here to assist any patients with Medicare. Mitchell loves to advocate and help his patients carve a pathway to begin their treatment and attain a clean bill of health. In his free time, Mitchell enjoys going on runs on Westcliff as well as traveling as much as he can.
Mayra joined our team in 2018 as our front office receptionist. She will be the first voice you will hear when calling our office. She enjoys working for Dr. Matiasevich because she is always learning something new. Working in the front office inspired her on going back to school to become a dental hygienist. She is super friendly and always has a smile on her face. In her spare time, she loves going to the beach and watching movies.

It is always nice to have friendly, pleasant people at a dentists office. Dentistry can be very routine, but this office was responsive to a sudden request for attention to a new emergent problem. That's positive and worth 5 stars.

I can't say enough about the staff and Dr. Bob here at Santa Cruz Family Dentists! From the minute I called just to see if they would take me I felt like family, and new I'd be taken care of with lots of love. I wasn't just a patient I was family. You know it as soon as you walk in! The receptionists, Dr. Bobs right hand girls, that do what they think is the small stuff I'm sure, care if your comfortable, especially if your in pain. You see your pain on their faces as if they were in the chair. They really DO CARE! Mitchell my financial advisor is 1 in a million! Without him I wouldn't have been able to have my procedure done. We have become good buddies. Let's not forget the man of the hour Dr. Bob! What can I say but Thank You from the bottom of my heart! I would not be here today if it weren't for Dr Bob! He literally saved my life! I have been complimented on my teeth almost daily and my smile. People cannot get enough of my smile! Thank you everyone! Great staff and Techs and Dr,s. Saw me in less than 24 hours and resolved my emergency cleanly and without pain in less than 1 hour. Clean facility and very welcoming. In all the years I've lived here, no medical facility has ever said to me, "Thank you for choosing us as your new provider and here's a welcome gift." Excellent customer service in stressful conditions with zero judgement or hard sell for the future. The Dr. explained as she went along with each step of the procedure, also.

When I decided to go for dental implants to replace a permanent bridge which had run its life course, Dr. Matiasevich was my first and only choice to carry out the procedure. From start to finish it turned out to be one of the most pleasant dental experiences I've ever had! No kidding! From the ease of setting up appointments to the planning of financial payments it was ease and efficiency all the way. We are very fortunate to have this caliber of dentistry in our community.
