Since 1972, Dr. Jordan has been committed to providing his patients with the best oral health possible. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri School of Dentistry in Kansas City, MO in 1972. He entered the U.S. Army and underwent a Dental Internship and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Training. In 1982, he received his AAOMS Board Certification. While on active duty, Dr. Jordan served as Director of one of the six Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training programs. In 2000, he retired from military service as a Colonel. He then began his practice in Knoxville.
Dr. Jordan is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Associate 2nd District Dental Association, and the Implant Study Group of Knoxville.
Dr. Jordan and his wife, Cyndi, together have eight children and seven grandchildren. Dr. Jordan enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He also enjoys piloting his own plane. back to top
Cyndi Jordan, our primary surgical nurse, has over twenty-five years of experience in the health care profession. While she began her career as a hospital nurse (including service in the ER), she has specialized in oral surgery for over fifteen years. As a Registered Dental Assistant, Cyndi is accredited for anesthesia assistance and regularly attends dental conferences to keep up-to-date in the field. Her daily duties include assisting with examinations and surgeries, monitoring patients comfort and vital signs, sterilizing and managing medical instruments, and overseeing post-operative care. She has four beautiful children and enjoys reading and taking care of her Great Dane. back to top
Sherri Silcox has been a surgical technician for five years. Sherri assists Dr. Jordan and Cyndi with keeping X-rays, charts, and equipment organized, and keeping patients happy. As the newest member on the Jordan Oral Surgery team, shes kept on her toes by the office staff. At home, she has a son, Aidan, who also keeps her busy. back to top

I had called this clinic as my son had been struggling with a wisdom tooth ache for a week.We called Dr Jordan's office and were given a spot immediately ( we got lucky with snow day cancellations).The front office was very helpful and polite.Dr. Jordan took great care and was thorough.He also called at night to check on my son.I am really impressed and would recommend this practice in a heartbeat.Thank you!!

I have only trusted one person to do my extractions over the years and it is this man. He listens, he cares and he makes me feel at ease. I have had a wisdom tooth taken out while I was 9 months pregnant and I was terrified, but he and his staff did a wonderful job with working with me.

Very pleasant and caring doctor. I had two surgeries, he personally called both times in the evening to check on me. I didn't even need to use pain killers during the recovery period. His staff are very nice too.

It feels strange to say but this was a great experience. Everything was explained completely and the IV went in at his first attempt. I remember zero pain, procedure went well and he called later that evening to check on me. I'd recommend Dr. Jordan and his office staff to anyone needing oral surgery.

I've seen many orthodontist. Dr. Jordan is quick to respond to your needs. His staff are the sweetest most respectful woman. Dr. Jordan even called later the night I had teeth pulled feom his personal cell phone to check on me.

I went to have a tooth extracted today. I was so pleased with the warm profedsional treatment I received from the office workers and staff. Dr. Gordon was very friendly and engaging. He listened to my concerns. The extraction went very smoothly. I was given excellent aftercare instructions both wtitten and oral. I was provided with plenty of guaze in a cute little bag. They even provided me with a soft toothbrush to use. I had as great an experience as possible getting your tooth pulled.

I would highly recommend Dr. Jordan skills as I have had 3 successful implants over the past 5 years. His staff is very kind & friendly as well. I love that the appointment wait time is almost zero.

Having a tooth pulled can make some people extremely scared and nervous. Luckily that wasn't the case with Dr. Jordan and his staff. I recommend his office to everyone needing an oral surgeon.
