Dr. Robert Bey received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He has been serving San Diegopatients at his central Clairemont location since 1988. Beginning November 1, 2014, he is proud to announce the opening of hisexpanded, state of the art dental office in Kearny Mesa.
He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association, the San Diego County Dental Society, and numerous local study clubs including the San Diego Cerec Study Club and the Trojan Dental Study Club. In addition, he has received advanced cosmetic dentistry training at the California Center of Advance Dental Studies (CCADS).
His Family Dr. Bey has been married to his wife, Lisa, since 1991. The Beys are proud parents of daughter Taylor, and son Connor. His experience as a father has helped inspire him to care for children as well as adults in hisfamily dental practice.
Dr. Gloria Tengonciang was born and raised in Midland, Michigan. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Temple University in Philadelphia, where she continued her studies to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Upon graduation, she worked as an associate in both Philadelphia and Harrisburg before moving to San Diego in January of 2013. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association, and the San Diego County Dental Society.The mother of two adorable little girls, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, running, and water sports.

I've been getting my teeth cleaned for about 4 years. Prior to my first visit at Dr. Bey's office, I literally never went to the dentist as an adult, out of fear and anxiety. From my my first experience until today, my experience has always been warm and comforting. When you walk in, Donna and front desk staff always smile, and are in a fantastic mood. Dr. Bey and Dr. Gloria were extremely pleasant my first go around, and i happily made my follow up appointments for a deep cleaning. Dr. Gloria was (and always is) sweet and makes you feel comfortable. Both sessions went flawless and I've been going back every 3 or so months ever since then. Appointments usually run on time. I regularly see Emily. My teeth feel like a million bucks every time I leave her. She's funny and extremely personable. Great attention to detail as well. She's amazing honestly. Dr. Bey and Dr. Gloria pop in occasionally and check up on you, and your file. Speaking of file, they write down notes in your folder when it pertains to your favorite channel, or other tips to keep you comfortable. They have headphones for the TV as well. This has been an awesome experience. Shout out to Mariana too, she's always been super nice.

Dr. Bey and staff are amazing. Kind, warm, and so accommodating. Everyone knows going to dentist isn't very enjoyable but they make have made my experience wonderful.
