Known as the best childrens dentist in Doylestown, PA, and throughout Bucks County, PA, Dr. Riesenberger is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He attended Gettysburg College and Temple University School of Dentistry and served his residency at Johns Hopkins University. His Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry was earned from the University of Maryland.

Dr. Rob is married, has two children, and lives in the community he serves. Patients often report seeing Dr. Rob riding his bike throughout Bucks County. He also enjoys mountain biking, hiking and snowboarding. He loves to share stories of his travel expeditions and is always interested in hearing about his patients and their families.

Each staff member shares Dr. Robs commitment to our patients dental care and well being. Everyone in the practice operates as a team member and takes pride in their capabilities. Continuing education and enrichment seminars are an integral part of our practice. Our assistants and hygienists are experienced, gentle and caring, and the front desk personnel efficiently handle scheduling, records management, and communications with parents.

Top Dentist: Dr. Rob has been named a Philadelphia magazine Top Dentists 2019 Winner in the category of pediatric dentistry! Top Dentists are nominated and voted on by their peers in the dental community. We are proud and very grateful for this recognition

Employee Clearances: All employees at Dr.Robs are in compliance with Pennsylvanias requirement that all employees having contact with children obtain the following three clearances: 1.) Report of criminal history from the Pennsylvania State Police; 2.) Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services (Child Abuse); and 3.) Fingerprint-based federal criminal history submitted through the Pennsylvania State Police or its authorized agent.

Emergency Training: All staff receive their regular CPR and medical emergency training (for infants to adults), including the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). We have an AED on hand at our practice for both pediatric and adult emergencies.

Prevent Injuries to the Mouth: Dr. Rob cannot emphasize enough the importance of wearing a mouth guard while playing sports. He can custom make a mouth guard for your child or they can try an off the shelf model that can be purchased at a sporting goods store or pharmacy.

Educational Seminars: Dr. Rob enjoys hosting educational seminars at his office for Moms groups. Moms and their children view a fun and educational video and listen to Dr. Rob discuss age-specific dental issues. The kids always ask such great questions! Then they have a tour of our office, eat a healthy snack AND the kids get to take a ride in the hygiene chair!

Children enjoy our informal environment and love meeting Dr. Rob. For those children new to a dental office, this introduction helps to reduce their fear of a first time visit. A childs overall well-being is dependent on good oral health, and an informed parent contributes in a very positive way to their childs oral health. We welcome the opportunity to host a fun education session for your organization.

New Patient Referrals: We love to thank those who refer new patients to our office. If you do refer a new family to us, be sure they know your last name so we can send a gift card to you with our thanks!

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recommends scheduling your childs first visit between the ages of six months and one year. This visit is more educational than treatment related and gives parents an opportunity to learn proper cleaning techniques, discuss fluoride needs and preventive dental care. The doctor will look for any existing problems such as thumb or finger sucking habits, baby bottle tooth decay and any oral abnormalties.

Your childs first official visit, around the age of 2-2 1/2 years of age, will include a dental cleaning and fluoride treatment by our hygienist and a comprehensive oral health examination by Dr. Rob. The hygienist and Dr. Rob will patiently explain each step to your child, using kid-friendly terminology and demonstrations. You are welcome to stay with your child during this visit to share in their experience.

My daughters actually enjoy going to the dentist because of the team at Dr Rob's office and of course because of Dr Rob himself. They go the extra mile when taking care of the little ones and I know my kiddos are in great hands here.

We've been going to Dr.Rob since my kids had their first teeth come in. They love going there! The staff are fantastic and Dr.Rob always takes great care of them. We've also had him do orthodontic work with very good results. I highly recommend! Great dental office for children!

Dr. Rob and his staff are the best! Dr. Rob was my dentist as a kid, and I have been taking my children there for over a decade. The staff is friendly, thorough and I never have a doubt that my kids are getting the best care. None of my children have dental anxiety because of the inviting environment Dr. Rob's office provides. If that alone isn't worth a 5 star review, I don't know what is!

Dr Rob and his team are the absolute best. They truly care about their patients. Dr Rob even called the night of my child's dental procedure to check in on him.

My daughter gets anxious and requested to listen to music during her cleaning and they told her no. Kind of upsetting when it takes a lot to get her to go. .." *** updating my review... I reacted harshly after the appt because my daughter was upset. Adjusting my review as the office (the dentist himself) did reach out to me to discuss. I feel much better after discussing and knowing that they are open and flexible makes me feel much better.

My daughter is a Special needs patient. Dr Riesenberger and his staff are not only caring and compassionate, but they treat her with the same level of care and respect as if she was a typical person. If I could I would give them a 10, a five does not do them justice.

This was my first time bringing my 2-year old daughter to see Dr. Riesenberger. Both he and his staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They made my daughter feel comfortable right away and gave her little toys to play with while she waited. I will definitely continue to bring my daughter to Dr. Rob for her dental care.

Dr. Rob is excellent in communicating with children & making the dentist visits fun, healthy, & positive! Most people may not realize the critical connection of dental/oral health and systemic diseases that appear unrelated in our bodies during our lifetimes. He helps kids create excellent habits that can provide overall great heath for their lives!
