Dr. Derr earned his dental degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. He completed a General Practice Residency at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center in affiliation with Minneapolis Childrens Hospital and St. Paul Ramsey (Regions) Hospital.
Dr. Derr served part-time over 20 years at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he was promoted three times to the rank of Clinical Professor. He helped direct the General Practice Residency at the University of Minnesota Hospital Dental Clinic. As a faculty member he was elected to Omicrom Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Fraternity.
Dr. Derr has been selected as a Top Dentist for numerous consecutive surveys of the Mpls/St. Paul and Minnesota Monthly Magazines. He provides volunteer dental service locally and internationally with various organizations. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association and The Minneapolis District Dental Society.
Dr. Amy (Adams) Chi earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesotas College of Biological Sciences and went on to Dental School at the University of Minnesota. After receiving her DDS Degree in 2008, Amy pursued an elective residency at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis. At that time she was honored to serve Minnesotas veterans and their dental needs.
Following residency Dr. Chi has been in private practice for over ten years serving patients in the twin cities. She joined Dr. Derr in 2017 and is continuing the tradition of exceptional dental care. She was nominated Top Dentist by Minnesota Monthly.
Dr. Chi enjoys all aspects of dentistry and treats patients of all ages and dental needs. She is committed to utilizing the latest dental techniques and materials. She participates in a variety of continuing education courses and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association and The Minneapolis District Dental Society.
Amy and her husband Erick, an Edina native, live locally and are members of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Amy and Erick enjoy spending time with their children Annie and Jack, being outdoors, traveling and relaxing with family and friends.
Dr. Steve Rzepecki joined us in 2020. He was in private practice for many years in Eden Prairie. He attended and was a part-time professor at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Rzepecki is a member of the visiting faculty dentists with Spear Education where he mentors dentists in advanced restorative skills. His extensive experience and friendly manner will put you at ease. Dr. Steve really enjoys smile makeovers (full mouth reconstructions) to restore function and beauty to his patients.
He and his wife Sheila and son Patrick live in Edina. He volunteers with Young Life Capernaum for kids with special needs. He also likes woodworking, Twins games, and spending time with his family and 2 dogs (also part of the family.)
If you have insurance or financial questions, Linda can help. Shes been at the office since 1991, and makes everything work smoothly behind the scenes. When shes not working hard at the front desk, she enjoys playing cards with family and friends.
Heidi has been with the practice and assisted since 1996! She also helps with administrative duties and insurance at the front desk. She enjoys reading, spending time with her family, fishing, and going to the cabin.
Judi brings over 19 years of dental experience to our office. Judi loves assisting with all dental procedures but especially smile transformations. She enjoys spending time with her husband Doug and her two girls at home, or having fun up north at the cabin.
Adrienne has been in the dental field for more than 19 years. She loves all aspects of dentistry, but especially seeing peoples smiles improve their confidence. She loves spending time with friends and family and enjoys learning Spanish and with her husband Caleb.
Lisa brings more than 30 years of experience in the dental field. Patients love her thorough cleanings and helpful tips to maintain optimal dental health. She likes to travel and spend time with family.
Brianna was a long-time patient of Dr. Derr even before pursuing her Dental Hygiene career. She received highest honors from University of Mankato and grew up Chanhassen. Her favorite part of dental hygiene is making sure patients are comfortable and confident with their smile.

I'm a long time patient, which should say somethin about my high level of satisfaction with this dental office. Scheduling is easy and I feel that my dental issues are well cared for. Fortunately, I have no major issues and the Doctors are helpful as we discuss potential future issues.
