Dr. Rita The Smile Designer is a Miami based family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. Recognized as one of South Floridas leading family, cosmetic and reconstructive dentists, Dr. Rita has over a decade of experience in the art and science of creating healthy and beautiful smiles. Respected for her expertise in Smile Reconstruction and Enhancement, Dr. Ritas philosophy is centered in achieving the balance between health and natural beauty when designing her patients smile image.

Dr. Rita completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, later proceeding to the University of Florida where she graduated with honors, earning her Doctorate in Medical Dentistry in May of 1997. Furthering her studies, she completed her post-graduate training at the Miami Veterans Administration Hospital, concentrating on Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry.
Dr. Rita is an active member of numerous and well-respected dental organizations and educational institutes that serve to continuously enhance her ability to provide her patients with successful treatment in all facets of dentistry. She serves as a participant in the Florida Dental Association, the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the LD Pankey Institute, and the Seattle Study Club Organization, among others.
Dr. Rita continues to enjoy what has become a wonderful journey mastering the Art of Designing Beautiful and Healthy Smiles. The diversity in cultures she has had the pleasure of experiencing within her family of patients has allowed her to learn and appreciate the vast array of attributes that bring a smile to people from all walks of life. Through Operation Smile, a nonprofit medical organization, Dr. Rita has discovered an invaluable way to see the world while simultaneously donating her time and expertise to treat children and young adults suffering from the ill-effects of a congenital defect known as cleft lip and palate. While visiting numerous underdeveloped countries, she has offered education, treatment and support to these underprivileged societies. The experience of watching a child enjoy the new-found ability to function and smile has served as a life-altering and rewarding gift.

Dr. Rita is amazing! She was recommended to me after a bad experience with another practice which had lead to several issues with my teeth and constant pain. Dr Rita was able to make the pain go away, and also provided a comprehensive treatment plan, advising what needed to be done right away and what could wait, should I choose to. Not only am I pain free for the first time in years, but my teeth have never looked better. I highly, highly recommend her!

Dr. Rita The Smile Designer!!! Put it this way, I travel an hour by car from Palm Beach and pass three international airports just to see her and only her. She has been designing and caring for my Smile for over 18 years. She has completed a full set of beautiful veneers and has taking care of all my dental health needs. I will be modest, my teeth are straighter, whiter, and more beautiful than most Movie stars teeth. In addition Dr. Rita is one of the most professional of her kind, with that said also one of the kindest and nicest people I know. Dr Rita is an artist! She did some bonding to even out the length of my 2 front teeth, which were very slightly different in length. The result was incredible! I never imagined something so small would make such a huge difference! She and her staff always make me feel completely comfortable, despite having a huge fear of dentists!!

I love Dr Rita! She is an excellent Dentist. I do my he general cleanings and check ups with her with pleasure. Dr. Rita has been my dentist for close to 15 years and my dental health is thankful for it. I'm certain that if I would have had her as a dentist in the past I would have avoided many dental complications for she takes a personal interest in each individual event. She takes great effort to make you at ease while also detailing the seriousness of procedures. She's also honest and only takes on cases where she will be comfortable with the outcome so if a case is too complicated she will refer you to a specialist. Dr. Rita also has a soft hand and does her best to keep you entertained as she drill. She will also follow up with you to ensure you are ok when the situation calls fo it. Going to the dentist is certainly not at the top of my list especially during a pandemic but Dr. Dargham and her staff made me feel safe and comfortable from the moment I walked in. Recently I opted to have some cosmetic work done and I could not be happier. Dr. Dargham is a true artist - she listened to my concerns and was extremely patient with me during the process. Making sure that I was 100 percent satisfied - which I was. This office is friendly and professional... from a general cleaning to more invasive dental procedures, I would recommend them to anyone!
