I too was out of town and saw her for a crown. The work was well done and the office staff professional, however I was not aware of the different materials that crowns can be made of and the pros and cons of each depending on your lifestyle. That being said, I grind my teeth, and I would not have gone with a crown made out of material that is harder than anything in my mouth, including my jaw bone. I now wear a mouth guard at night to protect my upper jaw and keep it from hurting and to protect the lower opposing tooth. So please, educate the patient and talk about the long term pros and cons of each option in relation to the patients lifestyle.

I went to see Dr Martin on an emergency basis. Being 1200 miles from home, I was anxious and in pain. The minute I met her, I felt at ease. She is a very kind and experienced dentist. I would not hesitate to have her as my family dentist or go back to her if I lived in the area. She is awesome as is her staff.
