We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice.
My team the doctors and staff is a group of people who love treating our pediatric population, as much as playing with them and being silly to help each feel comfortable. We all love to sing, dance, and even play jump rope games to set children at ease in a very non-clinical and non-threatening manner.
As a pediatric dentist, I enjoy providing care and motivation to my patients, and also appreciate what they bring into my life. Our interactions help me stay in touch with what is going on in young kids, pre-teens, and teenagers worlds: this keeps me young at heart and energized!
I have been a practicing pediatric dentist since 2005. I completed a Bachelor of Science at Morgan State University and my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland. I then completed my Pediatric Dental Certificate at Howard University.
Pediatric dentistry, like all areas of healthcare, is a constantly advancing specialty. Through active continuing education, I stay current on the latest options, incorporating the best into the practice and patient care.
I have taken courses through Progressive Orthodontic Seminars for traditional orthodontics and aligner training. I have also attended specialized training in tongue and lip ties through the Tongue Tied Institute, and training in hard and soft tissue lasers through the Biolase Laser Institute.
These ongoing studies allow me to offer a wide-range of services, from laser needle-free dentistry to orthodontics. I am also able to provide assistance to infants with feeding issues and toddlers with speech issues due to lip- and tongue-tie.
My passion for oral health extends beyond the practice. I treasure participating in many community outreach events that promote kids, education, and healthy lifestyles. I really love going into the local schools to talk about oral health!
I love equipping our children with the tools they need, through our annual book bag and school supplies giveaway. I also work hard to help parents in the winter, by donating hats, scarves, gloves, and oral hygiene products.
I am thankful to live and work in a wonderful, dynamic community. It is a pleasure to be able to give back and help others, especially those who might need a little extra support. I also love for the children to see me outside the office, and to get to know me beyond just being their dentist!
Time with loved ones is a priority when Im not caring for patients. I especially enjoy attending and supporting my daughters cheerleading competitions. I also like bike riding, power walking, and, when I can find the time, relaxing on my porch with a good book.
Dr. Jarrett Caldwell Dr. JC attended Florida A&M University on a tennis and academic scholarship and earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. It was here that his mentor introduced him to dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Caldwell moved from sunny Florida to Washington, DC to attend Howard University College of Dentistry and earned his dental degree.
While attending Howard University College of Dentistry Dr. Caldwell discovered that he had an interest in treating children and was lucky enough to be accepted and complete the orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics residency program. After working as an orthodontist for a few years, he decided that he wanted to expand his knowledge and capability to treat children of all ages by pursuing a residency in pediatric dentistry. He completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Connecticut Health Center and Connecticut Childrens Medical Center in Hartford, CT.

I would have given them zero stars but that was not an option. The services has went down hill and fast. I have left repeated messages to reschedule and or to make another appointment with no avail. I left messages for the office manager or Dr. to call me regarding this issue. No call!. I asked for my child records to go to another dentist office with staff that care about seeing patient and taking care of there needs. NO Call! After months of trying , I get a text reminding me of an appointment for August.(FUNNY) I asked through text because clearly no one calls or answer the phone what is this appointment for? I got a response 5 hours later( Sorry for the delay this appointment is for a cleaning.) My daughter has been going to Dr. Berry for 10 years or longer at the Largo and I respect and love Dr. Berry. This is truly disheartening that my now 14 year old daughter needs a cavity filled and I can't get an appointment for that but can get a text for a cleaning.

I absolutely love this dentist office for my kids. The only problem I have is when you call on the phone, the assistants are sometimes rude! You get asked a questioned, and when you go to answer, you are cut off in the middle of your sentences. I have recommended 13 of my family members here. I just thought this information should be shared.

It was the first time my two-year-old grandson. He walked in, picked up a couple of stuffed animals, on his way to the chair, and sat quietly through the cleaning. They are excellent.

The whole staff is wonderful and does everything to make children as comfortable as possible. I'll always recommend this place for any child.
