Dr. Richard Nichols is a general dentist specializing in the treatment of occlusion andTMJ Disorderproblems. A graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry , he has been in private practice for 20 years. Dr. Nichols has operated his own primary office in Bailey, Colorado for over 17 years, and has a second practice in Littleton, Colorado.
After working with an increasing number of patients with obvious TMJ issues, Dr. Nichols became increasingly interested in the study of Temporomandibular Disorders. He actively sought training by the top TMJ doctors in the country in order to better understand the disease. Through extensive immersion in the field of TMJ Disorders, Dr. Nichols patients receive a complete diagnosis and treatment.
Dr. Nichols studied advanced concepts of occlusion & TMJ Disorder diagnosis and treatment under the leaders in their representative fields of dentistry. He has completed the entire core curriculum and the final hands-on application course (Mastering Complex Cases) with the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida. Academy founder, Dr. Peter Dawson, D.D.S. is considered to be one of the most influential clinicians in the history of dentistry. His curriculum is designed to take dentists to the highest level of expertise utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach to solving even the most complex occlusal & TMJ-related disorders.
In 2007, Dr. Nichols pursued further training specifically focused on TMJ pathology, and completed the expert level of training with Dr. Mark Piper, M.D., D.M.D., who is recognized as the preeminent clinician, surgeon, and researcher in the field of advanced TMJ diagnosis and therapy.

Dr. Nichols and his staff have been nothing but super friendly, extremely professional and simply AMAZING.I recently had some fairly extensive dental work done and despite me being terrified, they made my experience and my teeth something to write home about. If I could give them 32 stars, one for each tooth, I would. Will be going back for years to come. Thank you Crow Hill Dentistry!

Dr. Nichols and his staff have been nothing but super friendly, extremely professional and simply AMAZING.I recently had some fairly extensive dental work done and despite me being terrified, they made my experience and my teeth something to write home about.
