Dr. Richard Chang graduated from Marquette University in 1980 and went on to a General Practice Residency. He had additional training in oral and periodontal surgery. He has been honored with numerous awards for excellence in dentistry.

He was offered a position in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at Montefiore Medical Center twice. However, he feels that general dentistry is his true calling and passion. His unique education provides him with proficiency across a wide range of dental and surgical procedures.

Dr. Richard Chang is a member of the Rotary Club of Fair Oaks, the Knights of Columbus and the Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS) on the Peer Review Committee. He has served on the Board of Directors of the SDDS and the SDDS Dental Foundation. He continues to be an active member of the community participating in the Smiles for Kids and Hiram Johnson Dental Care programs. Dr. Chang was recognized by his dental peers with the Helen Hamilton Award for services to the community.
