In 1991 Dr. Zym received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He then completed a prestigious residency program at Waterbury Hospital, Waterbury CT. This hospital is associated with The Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Zym began treating patients in Caldwell, NJ in 1993. While working in Caldwell for 18 years he learned to treat patients with care and offer only the finest quality dentistry.

Dr. Zym has extensive training with dental implants, practicing everything from single tooth restoration with an implant to full mouth rehabilitation with implants. His practice serves ages 1 to 99 and he strives for the highest quality of care. I love my work, and the greatest satisfaction comes from restoring patients complete smile and seeing the restored self-esteem and the confidence that comes out of them after having a brand new smile.'

Dr. Steven Reff uses his extensive experience to provide the highest level of surgical care in a gentle, compassionate manner. He received his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. While there, he graduated at the top of his class and was honored by his faculty by being inducted into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honors Society. He also served as President on a variety of committees including the Dental Schools Global Outreach Program and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery study group. Following dental school, Dr. Reff completed his cosmetic and surgical-based training at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine/New York Presbyterian Hospital. Upon completing his training Dr. Reff began treating patients in private practice. He was also invited to take a position at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine teaching postgraduate candidates and futuredentists, and was additionally appointed admitting privileges.

Dr. Reff is proud to be joining Dr. Zym at his office in Fairfield, New Jersey. When he is not practicing dentistry or attending professional obligations, he enjoys hiking with his Yellow Lab, fly fishing, and relaxing with his wife Allison and their two children, Mackenzie and Preston.

Tami is a Registered Dental Assistant with her X-Ray license, but found her passion is helping patients at the front desk. She has more than twenty years of experience in the dental field. Tami is an expert in Dental Insurance and Patient Financing. Tami thinks that our patients are the friendliest people she has ever come across and loves that our office feels like a family. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. They all love boating, biking and bonfires at the lake. They also enjoy spending time at the Jersey Shore.

Mary has been working as a Front Desk Coordinator with Dr. Zym for 20+ years. Many patients will recognize her from our previous office in Caldwell, NJ. In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, going to lunch with her friends and vacationing with her family. She also loves reading and cooking.

Karen has known Dr. Zym both personally and professionally for many years, and have worked together in more than one dental practice. Karen is an Expanded functions, Registered Dental Assistant. She is quite knowledgeable and has wonderfully skilled, yet gentle hands.

Karen has been a Registered Dental Assistant for over thirty years. She graduated in 1984 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry School of Health Related Professions in Newark, New Jersey with a CDA/RDA Expanded Duties license. She has been practicing in Northern New Jersey for general dental practitioners but also has experience working in Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, and Periodontal surgeries. She is a native of New Jersey and enjoys woodworking, painting, reading, running, jogging, biking and fishing. Her daughter, Sara is a teenager that plays ice hockey, so most of Karens weekends are spent in an ice rink.

Laura started in the dental field as a Dental Assistant. Realizing her passion for oral health she became a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1991, graduating from UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School. Her 30+ years of experience has helped her gain knowledge in the many aspects of dentistry. She uses that knowledge to help educate and motivate our valued patients toward a health mouth. Laura lives with her husband, two daughters and three cats. In her free time she enjoys skiing, hiking, rock climbing, gardening and reading. Her oldest daughter is currently attending Rutgers Law School and her youngest is pursuing an art degree at Temple University.
