Dr. Grant completed his undergraduate studies at Howard University (Washington, D.C.) in 1980, graduating with high honors majoring in Zoology and a minor in chemistry. Still at Howard University, he completed his degree of Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) with honors in 1984. Upon graduating, Dr. Grant returned to Jamaica enrolling in an internship program at the Kingston Public Hospital. There he practiced in their maxillo-facial unit receiving a wealth of surgical experience in complex hard and soft tissue management. Dr. Grant is licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Georgia and Florida.
In 1986 Dr. Grant opened his practice in the Miami Gardens area of Florida, and has been practicing there for 30 years. His practice can be described as state of the art and it focuses on General, Cosmetic and Implant dentistry. He and his staff regularly attend continuing education courses to ensure that the highest standards are maintained.
Dr. Grant's practice philosophy is to offer the best possible standard of care in a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. During his many years of practice he has had the pleasure of seeing so many of his patients regain their confidence by providing a winning smile and improved dental healthThis is his blessing.

Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Dr. Grant and his staff were very professional and friendly from the front desk and hygienist. After my X-rays and check up, Dr. Grant spent the time to explain what was going on based on the images and findings. I was given a treatment plan that works for me. I will be recommending Riviera Dental to everyone.

Thank you for making something unpleasant, not bad at all!! I am not a fan of going to the dentist, and Covid 19 has not helped in any way. However, whenever I come to the dental office, I am more than pleased with the cleanliness, promptness, and bedside manner displayed on every visit. Thank you again, ANGELA.

Very poor customer service, the doctor, Richard Grant, office manager Natalie Charles, & dental assistant Jorge, all need to be trained on how to speak & deal with patients. As a first time patient at this office my experience was horrible, I would not recommend anyone go to this establishment. Also know that me being uncomfortable with the dental assistant Jorge was due to him touching objects in the dental office & then touching my mouth with the same gloves, it had nothing to do with his ethnicity.

Doctor Grant and staff were extremely courteous. I am extremely satisfied with my initial visit. Dr. Grant took his time reviewing the x-rays before providing his assessment and a plan to resolve the issues. Would certainly recommend to anyone. Dr. Grant and his team have always delivered outstanding service since I became a patient. Today, my scheduled appointment was for general cleaning and there is where I met one of his assistant for the first time. She introduced herself as Ms. Gerline, as she organized herself in preparation for her to begin. As I observed her presence, I could not help but to notice the following: Firstly, she was conversational which always put mind at ease - white coat syndrome. Secondly, she explained the process in detail and questioned if there were any discomfort. Thirdly, she was patient and most importantly, she was thorough. Frankly, this was the first time that I can state honestly that this was the best cleaning I have ever received. Dr. Grant, I continue to be satisfied with the quality of service you and your team have provided me. Thank you

I would like to say my experience at Dr. Richard Grant was awesome clean, knowledgeable of all procedures and updated. I have had fear of dentist all my life don't know why but Everytime I saw a white Jacket I ran. This lead to me not going on a regular basis and costing more down the line but, thank God for peace. I was amazed at how everybody in the office takes a part not in only is Dr. Grant good at what he does he has the patience to explain everything and give you a good treatment plan going forth. This is followed up with the front assistant explaining how they set the appointmens and what procedures. It took a long time for me to find a competent Doctor with patience and knowledge thank God for Wisdom in this season. I encourage anybody looking for a good Dentist Dr. Grant and his staff are answered prayers for all.

Quality service and personable staff. Dentist visit was well worth it. Felt comfortable conversing with Dentist about the status of oral hygiene. Very knowledgeable and intuitive. Hygienist was professional and delicate with cleaning. Overall highly satisfied.

I used to HATED the dentist; UNTIL I MEET MY new HYGIENIST here at Dr. Richard A. Grant,D.D.S.? It seems like she prayed for me to come here to take care of my teeth because she does a great job keeping up with the care of what matters to her the most. She helps me understand the real meaning of CARING for myself when it comes to my teeth. I know she's passionate about her clients because I'm one of them and she make me feel so comfortable in that chair. I don't know if she know it or not but she keeps me coming back to the dentist. She and the front desk staff are AWESOME, RESPECTFUL AND KNOW HOW TO TREAT their clients. Rating her very good is not ENOUGH she is the best of the BEST.
