It is our commitment to making your visit as comfortable as possible that has led us to be the pioneers of spa Dentistry. From the moment you walk in the front door you feel as if you are in a fine upscale resort rather than a dental office. We have created an ambiance reminiscent of an Italian spa, with furnishings that make you feel as comfortable as if you were at home lounging in your own family room. Cookies are baked fresh in our kitchen throughout the day and are placed in our lobby for our patients to enjoy. We have vanilla scented candles burning throughout. Aromatherapy is used during treatment with specific formulations for calming and relaxing that Dr. has chosen and has custom made especially for our office by a local vendor to meet our specific needs. We have a massage therapist that is available to give foot and hand massages during yourtreatment. We use neck pillows, eye pillows and chenille blankets for additional comfort. We have attempted to address all five senses. Sight, smell, touch, taste and sound. The music we play has been carefully selected to give the feel of a relaxing spa. These are all stress reduction techniques and we find that it greatly enhances our patients experience here with us, creating a pleasant atmosphere where our patients actually look forward to coming to see us. A graduate of the prestigious University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, she has a private general dentistry practice in Palm Desert, California, with an emphasis on cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. She has been at the same location for 24 years, serving the valleys residents.

Dr. DellAcqua spends a significant amount of time taking continuing education courses to stay abreast of all of the new procedures and technology that are available. She prides herself on choosing only what is best for her patients. I will only implement procedures, techniques and materials that I would want in my mouth or my familys mouths. I will not jump on a bandwagon because a company has great marketing and patients come through the door looking for that specific product., says DellAcqua.
A pioneer of Spa Dentistry, Dr. DellAcqua saw a need to transform dentistry and her dental office into a comforting warm environment in which her patients could relax and would actually enjoy their visits. Part of this experience is having a foot massage with aromatherapy during a procedure. This decreases blood pressure, decreases the amount of anesthetic needed and relaxes patients. For those who would like to sleep through their procedure, Dr. offers sedation dentistry.
Dr. is very involved locally with charitable organizations and has served on the Board of Directors for numerous organizations. She has a passion for helping people and it shows. She is the former Mrs USA. She used her title to help speak out on behalf of women and children who have suffered domestic violence and abuse.

What a great experience! This dental office delivers perfection in a spa atmosphere. I've been a patient of Dr Dell'Acqua for several years, and I've been to her office many times for appointments. The minute you walk in, you know that this team has prepared for you. Dr Dell'Acqua and her entire staff are very professional, knowledgeable, and joyful to be around. I initially saw Dr Dell'Acqua to repair a chip on my front tooth. Later, I gave my smile an upgrade with some significant cosmetic work. The outcome was fantastic, and the compliments keep coming. I highly recommend Dr Dell'Acqua, and I can honestly say that every experience has been flawless!

Wonderful dentist and dentist practice! Perfect crowns. Does NOT do work which does not need to be done. I have been to dentists who said that I must have work done, and I am still walking around years later with the same tooth! For a modern dentist office practice, her pricing is fair and competitive with most dentists. Try her, you will like her. Great personality also.

Dr Dell'Acqua is a great dentist. The staff are friendly and efficient. The office very clean and beautifully decorated. During the painless experience in which I rec'd 2 crowns I rec'd a foot massage with no add'l expense. All and all the entire experience was the most pleasurable dental experience I have ever encountered .

Dr. Dell'Acqua is simply the best dentist I have ever had. I recently moved to the desert from Northern California and was referred to Dr. Dell'Acqua by a friend. From the time that one arrives at the office, till the time one leaves, everyone that you come in contact with in the office treats you like royalty. Dr. Dell'Acqua has filled three of my teeth and also added a crown. Each of the procedures was effortless. Dr. Dell'Acqua is a very talented dentist who I look forward to visiting for years to come. The dental hygienist is also very talented. Did I mention that I was offered a free foot massage during my procedures too?
