I am passionate about breaking the barrier many people have with facing dental care. I believe preventive care and conservative approaches are incredibly important for people to save their teeth long term.

However, so many people have had bad experiences with dental care in the past that they fear it now and do not even come to the dental office until it is too late.I have created a culture in my dental practice of acceptance, non-judgment, no-pressure case planning and compassionate care.

I received my undergraduate degree from University of Texas at Dallas and my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry, in downtown Dallas. After graduating from Baylor in 2004, I started this practice on Alma Road and have been happily providing exceptional dentistry ever since.

Every year I take continuing education beyond the minimum required for my license.I feel it is my responsibility to stay up to date and provide the best treatment options for my patients. Often, I choose my continuing education based on what I see as the most common problems my patients face.

Another special interest I have is conservative composite fillings. I come from a very artistic family, so the type of composite fillings in the front teeth that I have to sculpt myself brings me a great sense of accomplishment. I can do so much with just a small filling on the front teeth to improve a patients smile aesthetics.

Raised in the Richardson/Plano area from birth, I know this is a wonderful, warm community in which to raise my family. My husband and I have two young boys who keep us on our toes. We have officially become a baseball family, with both boys playing baseball and t-ball. We love it!

Together as a family, we enjoy hiking and bird watching, which is why I love our dental office with its beautiful views of trees and birds (and the occasional bobcat, rat snake, and coyote) from each room.

As the first friendly face our patients see when they come into the office, Chris is responsible for scheduling, treatment planning, financial coordination, and making each person feel comfortable and welcome in our office. Chris has been with us for 16 years, and our patients expect to be greeted by her warm personality, both in person and over the phone.

As one of our dental hygienists, Jessica makes it her priority to ensure the oral health of her patients through cleanings, periodontal care, education, and diagnostics. With more than 13 years of experience, and ten of them with Dr. Bork, Jessica has gotten to know many of our patients on a personal level.

E.J. has more than 20 years of experience as a dental hygienist. She is an expert at motivating patients when it comes to maintaining their teeth at home. Preventive care is an essential part of our practice, and E.J.s dedication helps move us closer to our goal of providing Plano residents with lifelong care for the whole family. We love E.J.s upbeat personality, which contributes to our stress-free work environment. She has been with our office since 2007.

Joann Davidson is our certified and registered chair-side assistant. She has lived in over eleven different states but is proud to call Texas home for these last twelve years. She is the married mother of three and enjoys all kinds of crafts from crocheting to jewelry making. She is very active in her church and weekly teaches a Sunday School class for the ten year olds.

Over the years her family has owned and raised many different kinds of birds. Their bird house is currently shared with 10 lovebirds. Joann has over 25 years of experience in the dental field and loves to learn about new products and techniques. She is happy to have found Dr. Rebecca Borks office to call home.

Many times, our patients are lucky enough to catch a glimpse of wild bobcats, turtles, rabbits and more through our treatment rooms large windows. Not only is our office relaxing, but it is filled with some of the most advanced technology to give our patients minimally invasive, precise care.

Dr. Bork is an experienced dentist focusing on family and cosmetic dentistry. With an artistic eye, Dr. Bork prides herself on creating lifelike cosmetic restorations that blend seamlessly into our patients smiles. We believe in providing patients with options for their dental treatments, so patients can achieve their dream smile on their own terms through an individual solution unique to them.

Our practice believes in giving back to the community. Every year, we participate in the Give Kids a Smile program to provide complimentary dental care to underprivileged children. We also organize a Candy Buy Back program in which we collect donations of extra candy to send to our troops overseas.
