Coming from a small town in Kansas, I believe providing patients with great dental care is necessary. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Syracuse University then attended State University of New York at Buffalo to acquire my doctorate in Dental Surgery. In 2006, my husband, Jon and I made the move to Fairbanks where I worked at Tanana Chiefs Conference for four years.

After deciding to make Alaska our home, I decided to go into private practice at 807 College Rd. Shortly after, I was blessed with two amazing children, Alex and Axel. My goal will always be to provide all current and future patients with an experience that shows the amount of care and attention to detail I strive on.

Growing up in a community of 1300, I learned the importance of helping others and showing nothing but kindness and understanding to neighbors in need. I have always enjoyed customer service and felt it was necessary for me to start by working as a manager for a group home that assisted people with disabilities. After working here for six years, I moved to Upstate New York where I worked for a company that thrived off of customer service. I remained in that position for a total of 10 years and wanted nothing more than to widen my horizon into the dental field. My family and I made the tough decision to move to Alaska where my opportunity arose and I am now working with the best dentist in town, Dr. Rebecca Cave Mansker!!!

Privileged to be part of a dental team devoted to excellence in dental services I enjoy producing thorough cleanings. Dedicated to providing personalized oral health care I enjoy working with all ages.

Born and raised in Michigan. Kalamazoo is where I obtained my Dental Hygiene degreeyes, there really is a Kalamazoo. I moved to Fairbanks in 1977 with my wonderful husband Doug, who is a realtor for Somers and Associates. We have 6 grown children all raised in the Fairbanks community. By March I will be the grandmother of 10. Hobbies are simple, I love reading the bible and spending time with my family and friends.

I am pleased to be a part of Dr. Caves amazing dental team. The overall health of our patients is of utmost importance here at Cave Dental. I thoroughly enjoy helping each patient feel comfortable with their unique smile and encouraging them to keep it as healthy as possible!

I was born in Fairbanks, Alaska and was raised in Nenana. Growing up, I loved to be out doors enjoying the beautiful things that Alaska has to offer such as fishing, hunting, hiking and being involved with my community. I also enjoy reading, listening to music, and spending time with my four beautiful children.

I began my career in the dental field in 2007 as a dental assistant. I fell in love with dentistry and have been a part of it ever since. I graduated from the dental hygiene program offered through the University of Alaska, Fairbanks in 2015, and began my career as a dental hygienist in Anchorage. Shortly after completing the hygiene program, I returned to Fairbanks where I found my dental home at Cave Dental.

Although Ive been calling Alaska my home since the summer of 2015, a big piece of my heart will always remain in my hometown of Lancaster, WI. Prior to Dental Assisting I spent 8 years working retail learning the important impact a friendly smile and good customer service can have on a person. It has been such a pleasure working with the wonderful staff at Cave Dental providing patients with exceptional treatment in a calm and caring atmosphere. Outside of the office I enjoy staying busy with hiking, camping, sports games, social events, and traveling.

Amazing w/ both my kiddos. It was their first time. And they explained to my kids everything as they were doing it and showed them so they wouldn't be scared. They were patient and sweet to top it off. My kids had a great time! All their staff is so nice. And the office is so clean!

I have been to several office in town that are PPOs for my insurance. About 6 months ago I broke a tooth and needed to get a filling. That same filling broke less than 3 months after I got it and I was very upset. I was referred to Cave Dental by a friend, and I couldn't be more thankful. The entire atmosphere is as warm and inviting as the staff members. After an exam I was provided with several courses of action for fixing my filling. Dr. Cave helped me choose the safest and best option for me and my budget and was able to fix my filling in the same day. I highly recommend Cave Dental. If you'd like to find more reviews, there is a ton on Cave Dental's website!

Wonderful Office Staff & Dentist. Dr. Rebecca Cave is a awesome. Years after trying to find a dentist that my daughter would be willing to let them do what needed to be done, I finally found someone that she would not only trust, but really liked. My daughter had several bad experiences with local dentists and it wasn't until seeing Dr. Cave that she was actually able to get some dental work done. She doesn't even need me to go back into the room with her anymore. She has total trust in Dr. Cave, who is great with kids! She's also great with grown-ups who are still terrified of the dentist. I love Andreaa, who has always been friendly and I haven't had any issues with insurance or billing.

I can see why some people think it is a scam, and I should have believed other reviewers instead... My visit was as simple as it gets. I just needed a second opinion and I understood that would obviously come with an X-ray exam plus a comprehensive exam. No pain, no cleaning, no other treatment whatsoever. To make it clear, Dr. Rebecca is a good dentist. My experience (with the dentist herself and the technical staff) there was rather good that I really wanted to switch from my regular dentist. The hygienist/X-ray tech was welcoming, the technology and equipment are not top-notch, but fairly advanced compared to other dentists I visited in town. But the administration lady/receptionist (ANDREEA is the name displayed on her desk) is another story. Besides a little attitude (and I understand that's completely subjective), either she doesn't know squat about insurance and billing or she is completely dishonest and will do anything just to get you through the door and then squeeze the money out of you after the visit. I think the later is more likely true. I won't go through all the details but two of the gross mistakes she made include 1. A false quote before the visit: After she gathered all my insurance info and called my insurance company she assured me on the phone than I will have a zero out-of-pocket copay. After receiving the bill, I later traced the call she made to my insurance (Premera Blue Cross), she purposely omitted some information. 2. Wrong amount billed: the bill I received was different than what reported to my insurance. Glad I checked my Explanation Of Benefits before footing the bill. When I asked why, she did not have any explanation to why the bill I received was higher, she just simply said "Oooh it was a mistake, we will take what's on your EOB".. If you can hold your breath until passed the desk lady, Dr. Rebecca is a good dentist that I wouldn't mind recommending. But the idea of dealing with her desk staff and the uncertainty and surprises in the bill after the visit is too much for me to bear.
