I have completed hundreds of hours in continuing education in general dentistry and aesthetics, including courses with Pankey institute in Florida. Ifinished mygraduate certificate in oral pathology and oral radiology from USC. I also enrolled in three years of Master of science in oral medicine and TMJ disorder at USC that will grant me MS in TMJ and oral disease. Recently Ipublished my first book of an upcoming series, Concise Guide to Clinical Dentistry. I am currently serving as an Editorial Board Member at the Scientific Archives of Dental Sciences.

When hes not in his office, Dr. Ray is training for Triathlon. He is also an avid audiophile, enjoys Vinyl records, and continuously searches for new records in different places. He Has a Black belt in Tae Kwon Do and practices Martial Arts.

In 2006, I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in microbiology and a minor in music. In 2010, I joined Highlands Dentistry and couldnt be happier. In my free time, I enjoy learning new things that can increase personal and business productivity.
My favorite part about working in dentistry is the opportunity to meet new people and help them enjoy a healthy and beautiful smile. I have been passionate about Dental since my senior year of high school when I took a Dental Assisting course at PSSC. I have worked in the Dental field since 2015 both in General and Pediatric Dentistry. Patient care is a top priority and I love making sure patients have a stress free visit and that they feel welcome coming to our office. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending my free time playing with my son and spending time with family and my two chihuahuas. Inefficient and rude front desk, they claimed they got a call saying we cancelled the appointment, without any proof. Apparently the automated system that sends messages asking to confirm your appointment is a "different system" and they don't check it. I'm taking my business elsewhere

Dr. Besharati is a caring and ethical dentist that anyone wishes to have. Unfortunately, I was advised by three previous dentists that I had to change my implant and have gum graft surgery that would cost me about 20K. I was so lucky to get a consultation with Dr. Besharati before doing such an expensive and painful procedure. I am so thankful to Dr. Besharati and his surgery team. I highly recommend Dr. Besharati. He is the best dentist that I can trust.

Reposting as they managed to have my previous review removed. My husband had a horrible experience at Highlands Dentistry. A woman named Ashley (front desk) treated him like trash because he didn't confirm his appointment the day before or a couple of days before, via text. Mind you, he had already confirmed via text the week before. I've known this man for 20 years and I've only seen him get upset maybe twice. Wow Ashley! Bravo! You accomplished that in under 5 minutes! You need to understand that you're not the only ones who's time is valuable. You literally wasted his time over your pettiness and he had to leave without getting his cleaning done. We have been patients of Dr. Ray for years now and this is how you treat people, let alone long time patients? I personally called today and discussed the incident and was told that they used to have 5 hygienists and are now down to 2 and, therefore, they need the extra confirmation to be sure patients actually show up. First of all, we've been patients for years and have never been a no-show. When we confirm an appointment, we actually show up. Second, it is not our problem that you are short staffed. That would be your issue. If you change your appointment cancellation/confirmation policy and that patients need to confirm more than once ,just because you're down to 2 hygienists; then, you need to send communication regarding such policy change. We are not in the business of reading minds. This is ridiculous! When you confirm your appointment once, it should suffice. We are done with Dr. Ray's office. Good luck with Ashley!

Dr. Besharati is awesome. Reasonable, logical, professional. I've been to many dentists across a few states as I moved around and I've had some really odd ones and some really bad ones. Besharati is great! No price gouging, no list of procedures that should be done, no BS. Just appropriate and professional dental care with a sense of humor. I found the dental staff to be professional and good at their jobs as well. Also they don't solicit reviews and that's why I'm writing one.

Excellent staff and Doctor Ray is a very kind, wonderful and a 100% Gentleman! Mary and Jo Ann along with all the other staff their are wonderful. I was afraid of shots until I met Dr. Ray. I've been coming here since 2012 and wouldn't consider going anywhere else for all my dental needs. I absolutely love love love this place! Although I currently live in Federal Way, Dr. Ray is such a nice man which does should good work that I'd would rather drive the entire hour just to get my teeth cleaned and teeth worked on. I'm my 50 years of living, it is my 1st time that I've found a dentist that I don't have to afraid of both with the experience as well as for the payment. He is a very honest man and only treats those teeth that absolutely need work on. My 23 year old daughter also used Dr. Ray's services, so I guess you can say Dr. Ray runs in our family. So I suggest if you need any dental work done, please check out Dr. Ray's office. You have my word and that is your won't be disappointed.

I went in and paid out of pocket because they don't accept my insurance but boy i feel great. Got me in and out very quickly. I recommend this dentist. His office was referred to me bu my sister. I will be a regular once my insurance changes.

I hesitate to share this review as I want to keep this gem all to myself. But Dr. Besharati and his ENTIRE staff are amazing!! From the two lovely ladies at the front desk, the great hygienists and dental assistants to Dr. Besharati himself who made my first visit very welcoming and comforting! If I had to schedule 15 more appointments in the near future, I would gladly do it knowing I am visiting such a wonderful dentistry! Thank you for making my Saturday morning dentist appointment so great!

My husband and I will not be returning to the office. They failed to take my yearly Xray and dental hygienist just assumed that I needed an x-rays done every 2 years. Without checking with me she entered a note in my chart that I only want X-ray done every 2 years. Being a nurse I've learned "never guess, never assume." Infection in two teeth was found and it costed me a root canal re-done and loosing a tooth. And I take a good care of my teeth. I am in the middle of the treatment and need to find another dentist to continue. Ashley, at front desk, was handling the issue and she was great but I expected at least a phone call from Dr. Ray. I don't need anything from them but just to know that the doc cares about his patient. Unfortunately I referred my husband and my sister to the office. Front desk staff is somewhat helpful. I've learned to talk only to Ashley. She has been very helpful and has excellent people skills :). I am not sure why this office has so many good reviews on google (242 reviews with 4.7 rating).
