Amazing staff all throughout the office, from the receptionist to the hygienists and the doctors! And I know because I had to work with many staff members, having had an implant (which meant many different procedures). They always took the time to explain everything that was going on (with my dental care, my insurance payments process, and other services I was interested in). Couldn't recommend them more :)

Removable dentures are better than living with no teeth, but they can slip out of place or make noises when you're trying to talk or eat. Implant-supported dentures are fastened securely to dental implants, so they never shift out of place, even when you're eatingsteak or blowing out your birthday candles.

If you are only missing one tooth, you have two treatment options: a traditional dental bridge or an implant-supported dental crown. The adjacent teeth will need to be reshaped to place a traditional bridge. An implant-supported crown is attached to a dental implant, so the surrounding teeth do not need to be reshaped.

Dental implants may seem like a big investment, but they are designed to last a lifetime. Titanium is biocompatible and built to last in the body for several decades. As long as you visit the dentist regularly and take good care of your smile, you can enjoy the benefits of dental implants for many years or even the rest of your life.

A healthy smile can help us ensure successful treatment and long-lasting results. If you suffer from jawbone recession or gum recession, we can perform a bone or gum graft a few months before your implant surgery. We can perform most types of dentistry on-site so patients can receive most preparatory procedures without leaving our office.

Your implant surgery will take place at our beautiful, spa-like Arlington, VA, dental office. We offer sedation dentistry and modern amenities like noise-canceling headphones to make your implant surgery even more comfortable. We also perform guided surgery for advanced precision and better results.

After your implants are placed, it will take a few weeks for your gums to heal and a few months for your bone to heal. Over four to six months, your implants will fuse with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration. Osseointegration is vital to the success of your implant treatment. You will be given instructions to ensure a safe and successful recovery.

The cost of dental implants varies from patient to patientand will depend on several factors, including how many implants you need, the condition of your smile, and the complexity of your implant surgery.

Dental implants themselves are not covered by insurance because they are considered elective. However, your dental restoration, dental exam, and preparatory treatments may be covered by insurance. Our Arlington, VA, office staff will work with your insurance to maximize your benefits. For any remaining costs, we offer financing with CareCredit.

Your dental implants are permanently embedded in your jawbone, so there's not much you need to do in order to take care of them. You can care for your implant-supported dental crown, dental bridge, or denture the same way you would care for your natural teeth. Maintain good gum health and avoid smoking to avoid complications that could lead to implant failure.

I was introduced to SmileDesigner by a friend who happened to be a patient there. My experience there was very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They made every step crystal clear to me so I never felt confused at any point. I worked with Dr. Han and he's very professional. I need an implant that's relatively tricky to pull off. He discussed every option with me and i felt like I was being well taken care of. He went out of his way to order a custom implant for me because of the challenging placement and the result is amazing. The whole procedure was quick and smooth.

Dr. Han is a master in the periodontics field. His process is methodical; accessing several options to obtain your best outcome for lasting durability. He communicates and educate you on every step of the procedure. I always feel comfortable when I am in his chair. He takes the time to get to know you and what is important to you. Dr. Han rescued and is restoring my mouth from previously poor dental procedures to healthy teeth and gum. I feel valued and cared for when I go to Smile Designers. The staff is authentically pleasant (Olivia is the gold standard). If you require dental care do yourself a favor and go to Smile Designer.

A dental veneer is an ultra-thin shell of tooth-colored porcelain that is affixed to the front surface of a tooth. The dental veneer hides cosmetic imperfections, making the tooth appear pristine and free from visible flaws.

Porcelain veneers are typically used to treat your front teeth. Just a few well-placed dental veneers can give you a brand-new smile. Veneers are one of the most versatile cosmetic dentistry treatments available today.

Our veneers are made of durable, stain-resistant porcelain.Unlike composite veneers, this dental porcelain matches the color and translucence of natural teeth. The porcelain material is also much longer-lasting.

If you have damaged, misshapen, or discolored teeth that affect howyou feel about your smile, you may want to consider porcelain veneers. Thanks to dental veneers, Drs. Daniel Han, Sooyeon Ahn, and Hae Lim Ji have helped many people in theArlington area achieve beautiful smiles.

Using IPS e.max and other advanced porcelain materials, our team can achieve long-lasting results that look natural. We partner with a high-quality dental laboratory whose technicians are just as committed to patient satisfaction as we are.

If porcelain veneers are right for you, we can prep your teeth for treatment. We will remove less than 1 mm of enamel from the tooth surface. This process is not painful. With the tooth enamel removed, we can then take an impression of the prepped tooth.

It will take time for the dental lab technicians to create your custom veneers. In the meantime, we will create and place a set of temporary veneers. We ask that you follow our instructions for temporary veneer care to ensure they are not dislodged.

When we have received the completed veneers, we will check them for proper fit and make any final adjustments as needed. Once the porcelain veneers are adhered in place, you'll walk out of our office with a new smile

Ive been to a couple of other dentists in the DC metro area and this is by far the best experience Ive ever had. The staff is really friendly, they are efficient, and really care about their customers.

Invisalign is an orthodontic option that uses clear aligners to shift your teeth into a healthier, more attractive position. It works on the same principle as traditional braces: carefully applied pressure is used to shift teeth over a period of time.

The difference is that Invisalign does not require any brackets, wires, or bands. In addition, you do not need to see an orthodontist for periodic tightening or adjustments. All of the Invisalign aligners are computer-designedfor precise custom care from beginning to end.

Invisalign doesn't have the irritating brackets involved withmetal braces. Rather than tightening and adjustments by an orthodontist, patients simply come to ourArlington practice for periodic check-ups.

If you have crooked, crowded, or uneven teeth, Invisalign treatment may be right for you. The popular braces alternative has helped many teenagers and adults undergo orthodontic treatment without feeling self-conscious. The end result is a healthier and more appealing smile.

The dentists ofSmile Designer DDS are members ofthe American Dental Association, the American Academy of Orthodontics, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Drs.Daniel Han, Sooyeon Ahn, and Hae Lim Ji look forward to discussing invisible orthodontics with you in greater detail.

A great Dental experience with Smile Designer. Great energy and engagement with the staff. Prompt, thorough discussions about the services. The best dental group I have been to and I wish I would have found them sooner. Love the atmosphere and the care they give to each patient. I will always come here.

I had such a great experience here! I had to redo my crowning here throughout the year and the dentist was very nice and genuine. Dr. Han made my teeth really natural looking and explain throughly the process of it. The office provided great service and I'll definitely be coming back! Totally recommended!!

Attachments are small bumps of composite material that are applied to a patient's teeth. These bumps work like the brackets used in braces. The attachments give the clear aligners something to hold onto as they shift the position of a patient's teeth.

The advent of Invisalign attachments allows ourdentists to treat more serious cases of malocclusion. That means more of our patients can achieve a straighter and healthier smile without having to go to an orthodontist.

During your first visit to our Arlington dental office, we will examine your teeth and discuss your dental health goals. We can let you know if Invisalign is right for you. This is also a chance to go over Invisalign costs, insurance coverage, and financing options.

If Invisalign treatment is right for you, we can then take digital scans of your teeth. Think of it as a digital impression. This information is fed into a computer, which will design each clear aligner in sequence for the full duration of treatment.

When you get your Invisalign aligners, you'll be asked to wear them for at least 22 hours a day. You may experience some minor soreness in the first days of wearing a new aligner, which you become accustomed to as you keep the aligner on.

Clear aligners are effective, but there are times when traditional braces are the ideal treatment option. If your malocclusion cannot be treated using attachments, we can discuss braces or more advanced orthodontic treatments. We offer both options at our practice.

Ive been coming here for only a short time and so far this is the best experience Ive had at a dentist office. Dr. Han performed 4 very complex extractions and the process was very painless. He educated me on how to promote proper healing and gave me a few things I needed before I left. This office is great! Im excited for my next visit! The whole staff is pleasant! I cant wait to have them turn my smile into a million dollar smile!
