Georgia Governor Nathan Deal appointed Dr. Daniel to the Georgia Board of Dentistry in 2012, and he served through 2015. In this capacity hewas Chairman of the Anesthesia Committee which oversees Conscious Sedation and General Anesthesia in Georgia dental offices. Dr. Daniel is an examiner for Central Regional Dental Testing Service (CRDTS), whose results are accepted by 44 states. (Dentists are required to pass a clinical competency exam before obtaining a license in all states but New York.) He has been an examiner as far away as Minneapolis and Milwaukee and as close to home as Augusta, Georgia and Birmingham. Dr. Daniel was appointed by Governor Deal as the only dentist member of the Council of Mandated Healthcare Benefits. Dr. Randy Daniel received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Science and Masters degree from the College ofWilliam and Mary in Virginia. The abstract of his masters thesis was published in the September 1979 issue of The Journal of the American Dental Association when he was a senior dental student.
Dr. Daniel received his initial Conscious Sedation training at the Medical College of Georgia. He had further training in Intravenous Sedation at the UAB Medical Center where he obtained experience in airway management, working under an attending anesthesiologist.
Dr. Daniel has been married to his wife, Marcia, since 1979. They have two daughters, Erin and Jennie. Erin is an MBA student at Georgia Tech. Jennie is a Teach for America teacher in College Park. Dr. and Mrs. Daniel are members of New Covenant Fellowship church.

There are Very knowledgeable and courteous workers at Dr. Daniel Dentistry. I received excellent treatment even though I have a lot of issues with my teeth. If the periodontist I have to follow up with is even half as good, I will be okay. I wish the county wasn't modifying the area, causing them and other businesses to have to leave--sad. W Johnson

Dr Daniels has always provided good care combined with a friendly, courteous environment - who says going to the dentist has to be a pain? Cindy does an excellent job with cleanings as well. We have been satisfied patients of this practice for many years and would recommend them gladly.

I had three teeth pulled! I never felt a thing! Dr. Daniel is an excellent surgeon and is very gentle. I believe I fell asleep while they were extracting my teeth. I would highly recommend him to everybody!

Went in for extraction on a broken tooth with infection. Dr. Had the tooth out before I realized he was even going for it. No pain great job all around.

Dr. Daniels and his staff are awesome! I had an appointment today because my wisdom tooth was infected. Dr. Daniels extracted my tooth without any pain. His staff was very kind also. Dr. Daniels was very attentive, very informative, and caring. He made sure I had everything I needed before I left. This was my 1st visit and I will be coming back again .

Dr. Daniel is the best!!!!!! I won't be going to any other dentist. He is so friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, & makes the procedures very easy!!! The staff are amazing as well. So friendly & helpful. So thankful I found this dentist office. UPDATE: 2022 Todays visit was great the staff was amazing. Didn't feel uncomfortable at all. I will forget come to this office.
