this man traumatized me as a child and i still to this day hate the dentist because of this man!!! i was held down with restraints, unable to have my mother next to me for ONE FILLING. after my appointment after i had thrown up everywhere all over me terrified because of him(i struggle with anxiety, have since i was a little girl) he proceeded to tell my mother in front of me that i need psychiatric help:,) my mother never brought me back after that appointment and i highly suggest bringing children to ANY other dentist. i truly do not know how this man still has his license. HE needs the help, not us scared kids. i promise i do not need psych help, just a normal girl who struggles with anxiety:)

We first visited in October of 2021. They told me the tooth in question looked fine but there was a small cavity between 2 teeth that needed a filling. The assistant dealing with my son was rude and dismissed him every time he said excuse me to ask her a question. While we were talking he leaned forward and she pushed him back down. Mind you- he wasn't even being examined at this time. There was literally no reason for her to do that and the way she told him not to move would have made ANY mom feel some type of way. I asked her to not touch him again - that's when my husband showed up and took over for the rest of the appointment. They did the filling , we had already decided we would not go back there. Fast forward 7 months and we're at a new dentist office for the same two teeth. There in fact was a cavity on the tooth I was first worried about and the filling they did was done bad and it continued to decay and the filling was broken. He now has a silver cap on that tooth and will be having the other cavity taken care of. Extremely disappointed in the whole experience at this office. There are a lot of other offices where you will be heard and treated with respect. I suggest taking your children elsewhere. One more thing. When I noticed the filling was broken I called a few new places to get in, unsure if we would be able to get in I called Ergas office. When someone called me back hours later we had already been fit in someplace else. I thanked her for getting back to me but explained we got an appointment somewhere and we were going to just keep that appointment and again thanked her for calling me back. She said uhhh oooookay and hung up. I mean... just so unprofessional. The end

Brought my 7 year old granddaughter there for the second time. The first visit her gums bled and they kept telling her to look in the mirror and she didn't want to. She doesn't like blood. She was very hesitant about going back there. I said we will try it and if it doesn't work out we will go elsewhere. Wish we never would've went back. While my granddaughter was in the office she was scared and crying. When one of the women came out to tell me I said I would go in with her. They wouldn't let me. The same woman came out a little later and said the Dr. is very frustrated. I told her that my granddaughter was very scared because of the last time we were there. She kept saying she doesn't do a good job brushing. She then said I held my kid down to brush their teeth for them. I said I will not do that to her. I went in to get her and she was crying, saying Mimi I do brush my teeth. The Doctor came out from another room mad and said, "you do not. Don't fib!" Not very professional! We will not be back there!!! If I could give them a minus stars I would. I wish we never would have went back there. She is very traumatized! Thank

Truly disgusting behavior as a dentist. Told me my daughter should be medicated for adhd. My daughter has anxiety and actually has been evaluated for adhd and does not have it, nor need medication. She wasn't spoken to like a person therefore she was scared. He walked up behind her and reclined her chair without saying hello. Then got upset she wouldn't sit still. When I approached them with how I find it extremely unprofessional that you are insinuating my daughter be medicated for a diagnosis you are not qualified to make. The defended themselves instead of apologizing. Out right disgusting and should be ashamed to call yourselves professional. Never do you diagnosis out of your scope. Know your role! Never ever take your child here, he is a joke.

I wish I could give negative stars, how anyone rated this guy positive is beyond me! We were referred to have 4 teeth looked at. Receptionist was rude, he was so rough with her that she's still afraid of the dentist. Told me 4 teeth could not be saved and wanted to pull them out with just a little codeine and what looked like a toddler straight jacket. I requested a new referral and found she did not need any teeth removed, all were saved and are still in great condition to this day. Anyone that thinks pulling a child's teeth in that fashion because it's easier than saving them should not be treating young children period

Don't go here. I wish i had seen the other reviews before taking my daughter here. I was in the waiting room while they extracted my 8 year olds tooth. I heard her crying so I opened the door to listen to what was going on, I heard the dentist yelling at her to "knock it off" and " this is ridiculous" VERY LOUDLY at a scared child. After I got her out of there she told me that he had pinched her arm. What kind of children's dentist would do that? He should not be working with children, probably not even on teeth at all. I will be taking action against this dentist office.

The main problem with this dentist is communication. You are not allowed to accompany you child. They don't ask if you have any concerns, they took x-rays without permission, botched them and took a second set without permission. You get your kid back and they don't give you any information. Upon asking I was told there is the start of a cavity that they are going to keep an eye on. I asked where the cavity was so I could help them with that area. They had to go and look it up. This is the absolute worst dentist, not sure why anyone would choose to go here. They seem like they have something to hide, but I will never know because all my children go to a dentist that has some communication skills now.

Just left this office and won't return. Son needed a root canal and was referred to an endodontic that they knew did not accept my sons insurance. I know that they knew because I heard the old bag behind the counter say it's not her responsibility. I think she needs to retire because she is a nasty old women.

My daughter lost a filling & had been irritating her & making her extremely uncomfortable. I called Dr Ergas after hours & he offered to meet us Saturday at 1:00pm. Dr Ergas greeted my child warmly & was able to replace the missing filling soon after examining her. What else impressed me was that when he was done, he painted flouride over her teeth to protect them from future caries. He advised me not to let her eat or drink for 30 minutes & we were all set to enjoy the rest of the day. Dr Ergas was thorough, kind & quite adorable with my child. He is efficient with his time making her experience not only tolerable, but, & I cannot believe I'm saying this, fun. When all was done, she got to pick a generous prize from the treasure chest & we were on our way. I will be scheduling my children's next cleanings with Dr Ergas & look forward to having a wonderful relationship with our new dentist.

Dr Ergas and his staff are so great, they have always made my children feel comfortable and safe in the dentist chair and I know they are in good hands. Good childhood dental experiences will help them be confident as adults to maintain regular dental exams and practice good oral hygiene
