Allison is a highly competent dental assistant and works hard to give patients the best experience in the chair. She is always learning new things and takes pride in her job. Apart from the office, Allison enjoys exercising, cooking and her golden retriever!
Abby is the outgoing voice you will hear on the phone. She is one of the friendliest people on the phone and always goes the extra mile for everyone. She is a woman of multiple talents--jumping in as a dental assistant when needed. She enjoys spending time with her family and two big dogs!
Mary Beth has been greeting and helping our patients for thirteen years. She has the warmest smile and most helpful demeanor. Mary Beth says the best part of her job is interacting with people and answering all their questions. Outside of work, she enjoys golf and spending time with her five wonderful grandchildren.
Carla has been practicing as a dental hygienist for 20 years. She is very dedicated to her patients and loves making them comfortable in the chair. When she isn't helping patients, she loves teaching dance, gardening and spending time with her children.
Katielynn is one of the compassionate dental hygienists you will ever meet. She enjoys getting to know her patients and excels with dental anxious patients. In her spare time she enjoys being involved in physical fitness, traveling and spending time with her dog.
Dr. Rachel Hargraves is an experienced general dentist committed to providing the highest quality care to her patients. She is compassionate and dedicated to doing her best to make sure patients are comfortable. Dr. Hargraves uses state of the art technology and a gentle demeanor to alleviate any anxieties in the dental chair. She strives to educate and communicate patients on their treatment needs. She is highly competent in all phases of general dentistry.
As a native to the Capital Region, Dr. Hargraves grew up in Guilderland, NY. Early on she recognized her passion for dentistry and majored in biology at the University at Albany. She then graduated summa cum laude in the top ten percent of her class from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, she relocated to Miami, Florida to pursue a rigorous post-graduate training at the Miami Veterans Hospital. As a fan of warm sun and bright smiles, she spent several years practicing dentistry in private practice in Pompano Beach, Florida. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Fourth District Dental Society and Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She serves leadership roles as the Treasurer, Co-Editor of the Newsletter and New Dentist Chair for the Fourth District Dental Society. She has recently become an adjunct professor at HVCC Dental Hygiene school.
Dr. Hargraves returned to her roots to practice dentistry in the Capital Region. She enjoys being an active member of the community and improving the oral health of her neighbors. In her spare time, Dr. Hargraves enjoys running, spending time with her family and reading. Aside from dentistry, her other passion is dogs. As a patient, you will hear a lot about her little Chihuahua named Suzy!

I highly recommend Dr Hargraves! I was having an issue and not completely happy with my previous dentist. A friend recommended her and she was much more thorough in diagnosing the problem. She was patient, took her time with me, and provided a cost effective, painless solution for the issues. Her staff is courteous and professional and I'm so glad I found her!

Dr. Hargraves deserves so much more than 5 stars!!! She is easily the best dentist I have ever had. Her practice is top notch! She's extremely knowledgeable, kind and does amazing work. Dr Hargraves and her staff are responsive, polite, welcoming and reassuring. Dr. Rachel explains everything you need to know in an easy to understand manner and answers all questions patiently. Visits are calm and as pain free as possible. It is wonderful to not be anxious about dental appointments. Yeah!

Dr Rachel and her staff are all compassionate, friendly and caring. They make you feel so at ease. I have PTSD from many years of domestic violence and struggle with being comfortable at doctor appointments. Dr Rachel, KatieLynn and the dental assistant (I'm sorry, I don't remember all of your names!) go above and beyond to make you feel in control. That is huge for someone with a trauma history like myself. The front office staff are also very helpful, friendly and compassionate. I'm really glad I found Dr. Rachel's practice!

I was looking for a new dentist when I happened to see in the Daily Gazette, that Dr. Hargraves had won the award for best dentist 2 years in a row. I had fractured my tooth and called to see if she could take on a new patient. She got me right in. I found her and the staff to be very friendly and conscientious of my care.

Dr. Hargraves is an excellant dentist. She treats all patients with the utmost dignity and respect. Dr Rachel is so kind and accommodating to her patients. She is an excellant communicater, taking time to explain things so patients can understand what is going on. I recently had a problem and Office Manager Mary Beth got me in quickly. All her staff are very kind and accomodating. I am extremely grateful to to Hargraves and her fine staff. I would highly reccomend them to anyone of any age in need of dental care.
