She found out that my previous dentist had not fully cleaned out the small cavities before capping them and thus I had deep cavities in those teeth. Her removal and her perfectionist cleaning saved me from a root canal. Also she keeps me informed and also shows me what is going on with my teeth. I have never been so confident in a dentist before. I highly recommend her.

My guess is that most of the people who go to Dr. Shahani have more dental issues than usual. She is a perfectionist, and other dentists I've needed to go to for specialized care have commented on how precise her work is. That matters for filling and especially for crowns, because exactly how they are fitted has a lot to do with how long they last. My wife and I both needed quite a bit of replacement work and bite adjustments from things done many years ago, and we were both very pleased with the outcomes. The bad news is that she doesn't take my dental insurance and is more expensive than some other area dentists. They do do a good job following up on insurance claims, and at least part of the expense is due to her taking as much time as needed to satisfy her with the outcome. done. So, whether this is the dentist for you depends on your needs and finances.
