Mississippi native, Dr. Prasad Vasamsetti, is a Raleigh dentist specializing in general and cosmetic dentistry. He is a graduate of The University of Mississippi, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2005. Since graduating, Dr. Vasamsetti has pursued a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Floridas Nova Southeastern University, as well as a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Sector Management at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Following his studies, Dr. Vasamsetti went on to become the Director of Dental Services for the Pender County Health Department. During his time there, he sought to help meet oral health needs in the community by launching Forever Smiles a childrens mobile dental clinic that has been the subject of multiple prestigious awards, such as the GlaxoSmithKline Child Recognition Award. Forever Smiles was also awarded the North Carolina Outstanding County Program Award in recognition of its comprehensive dental service to underserved populations.
Today, Dr. Vasamsetti is serving the Raleigh community at Brier Creek Dental where he has established a reputation for providing outstanding general and cosmetic dental care to his patients. He graduated from The Triangle Dental Institute in 2018 in the study of implantology. Furthermore, he received his Fellowship from The International Congress of Oral Implantology, the largest dental implant organization, for his continued efforts in education and extensive clinical experience. Additionally, Dr. Vasamsetti is an Invisalign Preferred Provider, someone who has a significant level of experience in treating patients with the Invisalign System.
Outside of the office, Dr. Vasamsetti served his community as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at St. Marys Health Clinic, where he also works as a volunteer dental care provider in his spare time. When he isnt helping change the lives of patients in and around Raleigh, Dr. Vasamsetti can be found playing competitive tennis, traveling, and spending sunny days out on the water with his wife, Shannon, their daughter, Kayaand their four-legged companion, Abby.
Dr. Seth Jones is a dental associate for Brier Creek Dental in Raleigh, North Carolina. After graduating from North Carolina State University with his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry, Dr. Jones went on to achieve his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013. While completing his studies, he participated in two dental externships at the Pender County Health Department in Pender County, North Carolina and the Luther Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Jones enjoys giving back to the community and to those in underserved populations. In the past, he has volunteered his time for several non-profit organizations, including Give Kids a Smile, Crest Healthy Smiles, Missions of Mercy Clinic, and the Student Health Action Coalition Clinic at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.
Today, Dr. Jones enjoys serving his patients with comprehensive, personalized treatment that raises the standard for dental care in Raleigh. In pursuit of excellence in dentistry, Dr. Jones maintains membership in an implant study club and the prestigious Seattle Study Club. He looks forward to serving the people of Raleigh and building lasting patient relationships in the future.
Dr. Megan Hayworth is a double Tar Heel, receiving both her Biology and Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following dental school, Dr. Hayworth completed a one-year hospital-based residency program at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. After residency, Dr. Hayworth began working in the Raleigh area and is excited to join the Brier Creek Dental team!
Dr. Hayworth prides herself on thoroughness and excellent care for her patients. She enjoys taking the time to explain treatment options and working with the patient to reach their goals. Having grown up in Greensboro, NC, the Triangle has won her over and she is glad to call the Raleigh area home. When Dr. Hayworth is not cheering on her Tar Heels (go heels!) you will often find her cooking, outside on the greenways, or cuddling up at home with her cat and dog - Tesla and Toby - for a good movie.
