Dr. Philip J. Weiss D.D.S. aims to provide individuals with a comfortable and relaxing environment where we strive to exceed your expectations through professional results and our friendly staff. Philip J. Weiss, D.D.S. Dr. Philip Weiss was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey and came to Cleveland when his father, Dr. Joel Wisotzky, became Director of Graduate Studies and Research at Case Western Reserve University Dental School. After 2 years of undergrad at The Ohio State University, he was admitted directly into the dental program at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Weiss was past president of Chagrin Valley Dental Club. He has been a member of the Greater Cleveland Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Association and the Better Business Bureau. He has a special interest in dental lasers and has a masters certification and training from Biolase. Dr. Weiss has an identical twin brother, who is a local orthodontist. Dr. Philip Weiss and his wife live in a suburb of Cleveland and have four children. He runs a practice in Willoughby, Ohio. What separates him from other dentists is his kind, gentle and caring personality. He and his staff truly want the best care for all of his patients.

Awesome dental practice! The whole experience was wonderful- the office staff is very efficient; the hygienists are friendly, thorough and gentle; Dr. Weiss 's professional expertise, integrity and extreme kindness/patience for his patients on the other end of the drill is very much appreciated!!! I highly recommend this dental practice.

Our family has been patients of Dr. Weiss for a few years. Being 60 years old, I have gone through a number of dentists and dental centers and have never been happy with what they have done and what they charge above my insurance. I did a search of dentists by me saw Dr. Weiss' website. We decided to try his office. From the time you walk in, you are greeted and welcomed by the staff. The hygienists are thorough and until they are satisfied with their work, continue to clean our teeth until they are masterpieces. The procedures do not hurt at all. Most importantly, however, Dr. Weiss goes above and beyond. His kind demeanor, patience and insistence on ensuring that we are not in pain while he is performing a procedure is a trait that we have never experienced. We all agree that he is excellent, he is thorough and he is the most friendliest dentist we have ever met. Most of the time, there is no additional charge above the insurance. Give him a try; you won't be disappointed!

I'm not exaggerating by saying this is the best dental office I've been to and best dental experience I've had. The staff were very nice and welcoming, and my hygienist (Ariane) was awesome. She was meticulous and thorough and clearly takes pride in her work. It is obvious Dr. Weiss treats his staff wonderfully--which helps explain why the patients are treated wonderfully too!

I cannot begin to say how great Dr. Weiss and Ariane, my hygienist are. When I started coming to Dr. Weiss and Ariane twelve years ago, my teeth were a mess. Prior to him becoming my dentist, I would become anxious and cancel my appointments. Now I really look forward to attending them and I am constantly getting compliments on my smile. My husband and my daughter uses his dental office as well. I've also referred family and friends and they love him just as well. At 54 years young, I've attended a lot of dentist appointments in my life time. Never, ever have I referred to the staff as dear friends of mine. But this is how Dr. Weiss and his staff makes you feel. It's like you're going home to family to get your teeth cleaned. What a beautiful feeling. (Smile) Pun intended! Dr. Weiss and his staff have taken me from terrified of everything dental to able to get fillings without a panic attack. Everyone is very welcoming and thoughtful. Procedures are as gentle as can be. I'll never go anywhere else!

It's been 15 years since I've been to the dentist and Dr Weiss and his team were SO welcoming! They did not make me feel worried or awkward because it's been so long since I've been to the dentist. Very nice, professional facility. Would recommend to anyone!

Recently had a very bad experience with Dr Weiss. He told me to replace a filling that apparently had a crack in it that was originally done by his colleague 2 years ago. I was told I could wait and watch it until the next 6 month cleaning but I opted to replace it immediately so I didn't have worries about decay. Mind you, never had any pain or discomfort with my tooth at all and the X-rays showed no decay. He replaced the filling and told me that "I should be fine". It is nearly 3weeks since then and I still cannot even run my tongue over my tooth. When I called, I was shocked to hear him say "I don't know anything about you. I only just met you and I thought we could wait" if only I recorded that phone conversation. He also told me that it's "time" to replace other fillings in my mouth that were done in 2009. Is this normal to keep taking out and replacing fillings that quickly?! Ironically, my mother's friend was a patient of his and told me he suggested the same to her. She went to another dentist and was told that she didn't need that at all. Just because a dentist is soft spoken doesn't mean that he is skilled

I had avoided the dentist for over 10 years due to bad experiences. I finally had a need to go and picked Dr. Weiss based on some good feedback. That was back in 2007 and I have been a patient ever since. I would not go anywhere else. Dr. Weiss is the best around. He uses the latest technologies and always makes sure you are comfortable no matter what is being done. Highly recommended.
