Beware, game playing from the Administration in this office cost me over $1,800 out of pocket. First my experience with Dr. Shelley himself went fine. Had two separate appointments and everything I needed on an endodontic level got taken care of. My disappointment and frustration was with the administration and front desk. For two weeks before my first appointment and after following up with them several times, they could not give me a straight answer of the amount my insurance would cover for the root canal. They gave me the option of rescheduling another appointment in three weeks as a pain in my mouth grew or proceeding without them giving me a clear answer about my coverage. I was told "it shouldn't be a problem and most of the procedures usually covered. After everything was done six month later, I get a bill from their office out of nowhere for over $1,800 and they call a few days later saying they want me to make a payment before they they send me to collections. I had no idea my insurance in fact did not cover anyting. I don't know if this information was deliberately withheld for me in hopes I would not go to another endodontist or they just simply couldn't get their act together. Either way I'm out of pocket. And left feeling deceived and disappointed. Don't make my mistake, double check everything and do your research.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Shelley. I was experiencing pain in one of my molars and my dentist fitted me for a new crown thinking that would probably take care of the situation. Two days later I was in horrible pain and was referred to Dr. Shelley for a root canal. He took me right in and two hours later I was on my way home feeling much better. His office was very nice and accommodating. I will definitely use him again if I should ever have another one. I might add his shots in my mouth were very gentle.

Truly thankful to have found Dr. Shelley and his great team. I felt welcomed and was taken care of from the minute I first walked in the door. Professional but not cold and Anastasia could joke and truly cares. I still don't think I will ever look forward to root canals but I'm not going to worry about them anymore either. . Thank you Dr. Shelley & Team.

I've had two root canals, both performed by Dr. Shelley and his team. From check in, to procedure you'll be comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend this place for all your procedures!

I thought that smart medical equipment could make any procedure successful and I underestimated the importance of a doctor's experience and skills. I had to pay twice for a root canal because Dr. Shelley made a mistake and couldn't correct it. Find another endodontist now, don't repeat my mistake.

Dr. Shelley performed a root canal for me. He took his time to look at my situation to be sure the root canal was appropriate, then performed the root canal with no issues and no pain. Could not have been any better an experience.

I was referred to Dr. Shelley for a root canal. This was my first experience having this procedure done. I was pleasantly surprised with how it went. The office is very nice and the staff here are great. My root canal was painless and didn't take very long at all. If you need a root canal I highly recommend you have it done by Dr. Shelley.

I would give Dr.Shelley and his staff 100 stars if I could! I was very happy with the root canals that were done and I wish I had known about Elm Endodontics years ago! Everyone there is very professional and Dr.Shelley takes the time to answer your questions, isn't rushed, and is very meticulous in his work. I highly recommend this office!

Honest, gentle and worth putting your trust in. I have had plenty of dental work done by dishonest dentists. Dr Shelley told me I just had sensitive teeth. My general dentist wasn't sure if I needed a few root canals and told me that I should go to a specialist. I know of another place I went to years ago that had me get two unneeded root canals. Dr Shelley told me to get a bite guard (which I finally got... he doesn't sell these and wasn't trying to upsell me). I'm happy to see someone that takes his job seriously.

My general dentist wasn't sure if I needed a few root canals and told me that I should go to a specialist. I know of another place I went to years ago that had me get two unneeded root canals. I highly recommend Dr. Shelley. I was referred to him by my dentist in 2018 for problems with a root canal performed years earlier. He was able to perform a second root canal on the tooth the day I was scheduled to see him for the first time. I was in and out in just a few hours! Unfortunately, my tooth did not cooperate and a year later my dentist referred me back to Dr. Shelley to see if the tooth was worth saving as it still wasn't healing properly. Dr. Shelley saved my tooth by performing a third root canal - he was incredibly thorough and was able to find the cause for the continued issues. I was very pleased with his office, his staff, and his work.

I was recommended to Dr Shelley and the team at Elm Endodontists for a tooth that my dentist was unsure as having a fractured root. They were able to see me straightaway and diagnosed the problem. He is very careful and ensure the diagnosis was correct. I had a root canal that was, in the doctor's words, "straightforward". He was very good about managing the pain during the process. He finished the work quickly. The same night I was able to chew and drink cold beverages on the right side of my face with no pain. Lisa worked with my insurance to get the billing done, which is a great service! Highly recommend Dr Shelley and his team!

I have had work done by Dr. Shelley 3 times in the last 9 years (on different teeth). He has always been extremely thorough and willing to explain the work in a way I can understand. He is conservative about what work he does- he won't do something if it isn't absolutely needed. Great guy to ask for a second opinion/ peace of mind too!
