I've been seeing Dr. Wortman for over 15 years, and now my husband and children see him as well. We have always received excellent, consistent care from Dr. Wortman and his entire staff!

I've been going to Dr. Wortman since I've probably been in diapers. The team of dental hygienists are top notch and have done wonderful work. I have all of my teeth and a great smile. Couldn't be more proud of this facility and it's employees.

First off let me say that the staff is amazingly nice. The girls up front are very friendly and do try their best to help with any questions you may have. However we will not be returning here. We have Delta Dental insurance and I was actually sent to Dr. Wortman by referral of Delta that I would receive "The best benefits with this doctor". An exact quote from the customer service rep. My insurance pays 85% of fillings. I was told by Dr. Wortman that my son had 8 cavities between his teeth. We returned for two appointments, on the 2nd appointment Dr. Wortman numbed the wrong part of his mouth, so my son walked out with his entire face numb. He admitted that was his error. When I received my dental statement there was a charge of 9 fillings. I asked the staff and they said yes he did nine, no one could explain why I was told originally there was only eight. I received my bill and my insurance only paid about 50% of the bill. Upon investigating I found it is because most insurance companies only cover the silver fillings at 85%, I asked the gal up front and she said they do not do those fillings there. So why then are they a preferred dentist where I was told I would have 85% coverage and no deductible? A bill I expected to be $150 was $650 for 9 fillings!!!!! If you visit this dentist do NOT have any work done unless you get an estimate from the insurance company of what the ACTUAL charges will be. We drove 45 miles one way on three separate trips for this to happen. Never be afraid to shop around, and make sure they are doing the work they said they would do. 8 fillings turned into 9. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
