Dr. Sommers has been providing quality dental care for over 30 years in the Watertown area. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Marquette University in 1979 following undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
Throughout his career, Dr. Sommers has focused on providing compassionate, individualized care for his patients. Dr. Sommers and his staff know many people are anxious about visiting the dentist. Their office philosophy of We Cater to Cowards is a reflection of their concern in providing a caring, comfortable experience for their patients.
Dr. Sommers is committed to providing true family dentistry. From treating very young children to the elderly, his office provides a wide range of services. Dr. Sommers has taken numerous courses, ranging from conventional orthodontics to implant and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Sommers and his wife, Carmen, have been married for over 35 years and reside in Watertown. They have four children. Outside of the office, Dr. Sommers enjoys many recreational activities. He is a licensed pilot and enjoys flying to various locations. He also enjoys golf, tennis, fishing, and gardening. He and his wife especially enjoy spending time with their grandchildren.

Place is a joke, won't let me schedule an appointment because I have a $75 balance for prescription toothpaste I wanted to pay for last appointment because I knew my insurance wouldn't cover "they assured me it would be covered" told them sure I'll settle up with you when I'm there for the next appointment. Nope not good enough. So okay we'll take our business elsewhere

Was satisfied for the most part up until these last couple years. Had a filling for a cavity earlier this year. My mouth wasn't numb enough, so I could feel the majority of the pain/drilling. I also went to see them for a chipped front tooth on my bottom row.. they filled it and made it look great, but then it fell off and chipped back open not too long after.

I had the same special treatment that I have received for years. If it has been a 6 month visit or "I broke a tooth". And was checked on the next day. I feel at home . Thx Wanda Otto

I dont care who you are, or what your problem is... this is the place to go. Not only am I embarrassed of my mouth, but I truly am afraid of a dentist office. This place 110% will make you have a good experience.

Nice staff, great automated communication regarding upcoming appointments, all good. Had been a while since I'd seen a dentist (whoops), and no guilt trip conveyed! Dr. Sommers is excellent, very straightforward and easy to talk with. My boys had their first dental visits there, gentle and friendly. Excellent.

A patient couldn't really ask for a more knowledgeable and kind dentist than Dr. Sommers is. I have been going to the practice for the last 10+ years and have always been extremely happy with every appointment.
