Dr. Hinder is a highly skilled Dentist amongst a sea of Dentists. Dr. Hinder could practice anywhere in the Country because his skill set is beyond extraordinary. If you live in the Jacksonville area consider yourself fortunate. This is not your average Dentist or dental team. I'm originally from Chicago so I was spoiled with the best of the best in Medical and Dental. Long story short, I was hit in the lower jaw with a 15 lb slam ball that knocked loose and displaced my bottom teeth. Several Dentists turned me away but Dr. Hinder recognized the urgency of getting my teeth back into place sooner than later. X-Rays were taken, the damage was assessed and a plan was quickly put into action. My teeth were put back into place and splinted. The occlusion was also corrected. I'm now 100 percent pain free and I can close my mouth comfortably. I owe Dr. Paul Hinder a debt of gratitude.

I hated the dentist. But this dentist office has changed my mind. I now enjoy going to my scheduled cleanings instead of bailing last minute. Dr. Hinder and his staff are elite. Highly recommend!!!!!

What a pleasure it is to love your dental experience. For years, I had been struggling to find a great dentist with 3 characteristics and finally on the recommendation of a dear friend, it happened. What are the three characteristics of an exceptional dentist you ask? Well, it goes without saying that any very good dentist has to be highly skilled. But I prefer a great dentist and those characteristics are: 1. A conservative approach - no not politics - just that before jumping to crowns and other expensive options, that there is a good attempt to save a tooth with a filling or other option. 2. great equipment, you have to experience one that has the ability not just to do bite-wing xrays but to actually look above and below at your sinuses (yes your roots can go nearly that far) and your jaw to spot other potential issues. Also, making own crowns with a digital process rather than sending out the clay casts that are never quite perfect and have to be ground down in the mouth. 3. A gentle hand. I am a big guy, but I admit that most of the time in a dentist chair I am tense, it's just that my body has a visceral reaction and I have to keep telling myself to stop clenching and breathe deeply when somebody slips or is painfully rough on my gums. Finally, a word on the despicable practices that dental schools are training dentists to do. So many dentists put profit over purpose. Too many prefer to suggest the option that is most profitable and least work for them. And they keep wanting to sell you things, all sorts of pricey add-ons. One offered me to try a small bottle of "special" antibacterial rinse, and I said thanks. Then, at the check-out, I was charged $29 ! Never mentioned that she was selling an add-on...and I had just thought she was nice the way many give you a little swag bag with a toothbrush and such. Please, please never go to a dentist that offers botox, unless you are insecure enough to want to have an inflammatory toxin injected under your skin and then have your kidneys struggle to process it. That is the opposite of health-care and if you go to such a dentist, well i hope that you will eventually find other aspects of beauty, such as health, even more desirable.

I recently moved out of Jax to Pensacola. I will be driving over to Jax to have Dr Hinder finish up my dental work. That should say enough.

Paul and the entire staff are awesome! You will love the location and the office is very new and modern. From cleaning to implant work, Paul and the team are the very best! You can't go wrong here!

I have always been nervous going to the dentist. Dr. Hinder's team makes you feel right at home. Dr. Hinder and his staff are amazing! Friendly, professional, and caring. Wish I could leave 10 stars.

He's been on time every time I've seen him for the last 3 years. I recently bought a custom grind guard from him and it was worth every penny.

I have previously had a few poor experiences with dentists but Dr. Hinder and his staff have been nothing but helpful and professional. The office is clean and has a calming vibe to it and Dr. Hinder truly listens, examines with care and explains his diagnosis and treatment plans clearly. I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone in the Jacksonville area.
