Hi! My name is Heather. I was born with a dental defect called dentogenisimperfecta that made my teeth break like glass. I have spent a great deal of time in the dental chair over the years, to say the least. After spending all those years and over 25k in one shot, trying to restore my teeth, it finally came to the point of dentures. After my teeth where removed, I thought I would have to seek psychiatric help when seeing that my face had now, completely sunk inward and I could not even bare to look in the mirror or, be seen for the four months that I had to go without dentures.( and apparent and incredibly unfair insurance rule) I had gone to Dental clinics north of Cheboygan and, was made the worst fitting and ugly dentures beyond what I could have even imagined! It became seemingly nonsensical to even put makeup on with such a distorted looking mouth! Then, they refused to see me or, to return my original and irreplaceable dental molds from the previous work in Tennessee. My insurance made them repay the money for the teeth and, I was referred to a Prostadontist. Tho, it was the first time I had ever heard it, this name even made sense to me!! To anyone that is familiar, the dentures are absolutely a prosthetic of the face! Unfortunately, there are only 2 Prostadontists in the State of Michigan and only one that would accept my insurance! The Lord swooped in and led me to Dr. Kaplan! I am not exaggerating to say that he is the most skilled and knowledgeable person that I have ever met and, with that care and skill he gave me my face back!! The first time that I saw his work in my mouth I cried of happiness to see myself again! It's tearing me up, right now! During this time with Dr. Kaplan, I learned more than I did in 42 years of being in and out of dental chairs and, I was blessed to meet not only a master in his trade but a simply fantastic individual that I will proudly call a friend for life! I simply guarantee that you will not be disappointed in the results of any restorations or dentures that is personalized to your face! Impossible for any dental lab to come even close to accomplishing! His ability is an absolutel opportunity of a lifetime, for those that need it! Thank the Lord for Dr. K!

Dr. Paul Kaplan is terrific! I called with a chipped tooth and he kindly agreed to see me that afternoon. Professional, talented & caring... I can't say enough wonderful things!!!

It was my first experience with Dr. Kaplan and he was amazing. Smaller practice, he even answers his own phone, but he has an extremely large knowledge base with his decades of experience. I went for a cleaning and exam, and he was able to get me right in his schedule the next week. Very good at explaining and up on his knowledge of dental care products as well. 10/10 would recommend, you won't be disappointed!
