I've been married for 20 yrs. We have a daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter on the way, and 3 teenage boys. Most of my time is spent watching my youngest play sports. I love camping, kayaking, hiking, traveling and just being outside in the sunshine.

Best dentist I have been to! They made me feel so welcomed & made me feel at ease & relaxed when I was their. I don't like the dentist but they reassured me everything would be fine & it truly was! They did a fantastic job on my teeth! Thank you!

I went in for a consult about my receding gums and he fixed them (by putting a sealant on them)! This is the first time I have had a dentist try to do something about it! I also loved their natural/health conscious mindset! Everyone was super friendly and I will be continuing to visit for many years to come!

They are always friendly and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes in the waiting room for my appointment. A play area for kids with kid shows playing. Dr. Tanner is very good at what he does.

Absolutely love Dr Tanner! He is so very kind and makes you feel comfortable while explaining what is being done or what needs to be done. He was very quick and both times I've been to his office I didn't wait too long before being seen and getting work done. Would definitely recommend! I used to hate the dentist but now I LOVE IT!

Dr. Tanner is a Pro. He provided an accurate estimate to replace my old fillings, and executed flawlessly. Two visits, each less than an hour, no pain experienced, to handle 8 Amalgam fillings.

They treat you well here. They answer questions and educate you and are willing to work with you financially. The whole staff is super friendly. I appreciated them not doing x-rays while I was pregnant. Invasiveness is minimal, compared to other dentists. Even though it's out of network for me, costing me a little more, and I'm 30 minutes away, I feel it's worth going here. They are a holistic dentistry, which goes along with my personal values. It's hard to find a good dentist, so I want to stick with them as long as I can.

I hadn't been to the dentist in almost 10 years. I get super anxious going to the dentist, but when I went to Dr. Tanner's office, I felt calm. The staff was so nice. I needed fillings and instead of numbing my entire mouth he asked if I would be willing to bear the pain and if it got to be too much he could numb it. I appreciated having options. He talked me through what he was doing and he helped me get through all 10 fillings without being numb. It was a little painful, but not bad. He did an awesome job. I especially liked not having a numb mouth for hours afterward. I was able to just continue on with my day like nothing happened. It was the best experience I've had at the dentist.

Holistic / Biological dentistry is what I was looking for and found a great solution at So Ogden Smiles! We enjoy the friendly staff and dentist, Dr. Tanner. They're also professional, kind & do great work. Timely too! I appreciate the ozone treatments, not pushing extra or unnecessary work (opposite of the previous office we went to), applying the numbing solution in a unique way that allows the body to accept it without using so much, and safe mercury removal. My kids enjoy the little kids room, the massage chair, tv's, prizes and, of course, free toothbrushes, flossers, etc. Great dentist & business!

We chose Dr Tanner upon moving here 6 months ago because of his non-toxic as well as conservative methods. Great human being, lovely staff. They charge normal, not exorbitant fees!

I love going to this dentist. I am glad I found him in the way I did was when I was going to a health and wellness center in Salt Lake City and I started looking up holistic Dentist. He does great work and he has a great staff that works with him.

My son is very apprehensive of the dentist, but our experience couldn't have been better. We used to go to a pediatric dentist because I thought they'd handle kids better, but the wait for an appointment was always several months. After receiving a recommendation from my friend, I made the first visit to Dr Tanner, and after a terrific experience myself, we've now got the whole family there. Dr Tanner and his staff are great with kids, incredibly efficient during procedures, and are conservative with treatment. As an added bonus, you can also use the massage chair after your visit! We highly recommend South Ogden Smiles!

I thought the office staff were super friendly . Dr Tanner seems very nice. I thought Utah had a mask mandate so I was a little shocked to see staff and people NOT wearing a mask. They did wear a mask when working directly on my teeth. I just kinda felt they didn't show a lot of respect . People in waiting room didn't wear a mask. So who knows I guess this office thinks Pandemic is Over!! Please show respect. Thnx
