Patrick Grube, DDS, grew up in Virginia Beach, attending the math and science academy at Ocean Lakes High School. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, where he was an Echols Scholar and graduated with distinction. Dr. Grube then began at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. While there, he was inducted into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society in recognition of academic excellence. He was also selected as a student member of the admissions committee and a participant in the senior Implant Clerkship, where he gained increased education in implant restorations and helped teach implant laboratory coursework. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Tidewater Dental Association, where he is an executive committee member.
Dr. Grubes goal is to provide a comfortable environment where patients are able to understand all aspects of their oral health. He likes to work as a team with his patients so that together they can create a treatment plan that meets their goals. We are honest and compassionate in all aspects of patient care. This understanding continues to the front office, where our Patient Advocate helps everyone understand all insurance and financial aspects of their treatment plan. Our motto is no surprises we want you to leave our office feeling confident in us and your treatment.
Dr. Grube recently married his wife Jordan, who is a dedicated nurse practitioner and talented artist. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, usually at the beach. He is passionate about surfing, skiing, and vegetable gardening.

My first time going to get a cleaning in a while. The staff was super nice and friendly. My hygienist was amazing and gave me good tips to keep up with my teeth. Dr. Grube was very nice and listened to what I had to say!

Highly recommend Gentle Family Dentistry! They are THE BEST!!! After 30 years of military-directed health care, upon retirement I had to find my dental care team. I am so happy I found Gentle Family Dentistry! The entire staff is top notch - professional, friendly and welcoming. I've visited this office three times for exams, cleanings, and to get a crown on a tooth. Dr. Grube explained each step of the procedures. Shalise handled the insurance claims process.

Vacationing here and found an abscess. They got me in that day and were up front on costs and process. Explained everything in detail clearly with options and insured me that it should wait until I see my home dentist. Would recommend them to everyone!

I went to Dr Patrick Grube's office the other day and had a wonderful first time experience. Everyone in the office had great attitudes and wonderful personalities. I appreciate them giving me a last minute appointment as I was hurting very badly. The doctors chairside manners were great. His assistant had already gotten me prepared and she really had me excited about my experience to come. I would definitely recommend Dr Patrick Grube's office to anyone that need a great dentist.

My wife has been going here since she was a kid (and it was Dr Denbar), our kids have gone here since they've had teeth, and after years of neglecting my own teeth I am also a patient here, and Dr Grube and his staff (the newer ones as well as those that remained after Dr. Denbar retired) are top-notch. I live in Currituck, but we drive past several other dental offices to get to Gentle Family Dentistry, and we see no reason to change that.

I've been going to this practice for over 10+ years and Dr. Grube is new to this location. The interactions I've had with him have been few but those few times have been very professional, great listener, and genuinely concerned about his patients health and wellbeing. His staff is the bomb - always cheery, smiling and also genuinely concerned about their patients. Great place for most of your dental needs.
