Dr. Patrick Ballard was born and raised in Anniston, Al. He earned his BA degree at Ole Miss and then attended UAB School of Dentistry. After graduating UAB School of Dentistry in 2000, he was happy to move back to the Anniston /Oxford area. Once graduated, he practiced in a group for over 5 years. He then married his wife Sheri and started a family. After getting married, Dr. Ballard and Sheri decided they wanted a smaller, more family-style practice. They started Ballard Dental in 2006 in Oxford, Al where there mission is to restore and enhance the natural beauty of your smile using conservative, state of the art procedures which will result in a beautiful long lasting smile.
Lauren plays a huge roll in our office! She is our lead assistant, as well as hygienist. During her time off, she and her husband enjoy their 2 dogs Django, a great dane and Stella, a rescue cocker spaniel.

Never had a cavity in my life... went 8 months between dental visits and all of a sudden had EIGHT cavities as a new patient to him. Funny, my husband went the next day and had EIGHT cavities in the SAME spots as me. We foolishly believed him and allowed him to "fix", but after 5 bite adjustments, tooth pain for over a year, and the most rude dentist I have ever met talking to me like a fool--- we left and my xrays showed NO CAVITIES were even there. ever. This man is a crook and I am reporting him. Good luck.

Highly Recommend to Anyone & Everyone who wants to be treated like a King/Queen when they are under his care! He has the Best Personality which includes all the way from being very gentle with your mouth, to letting you have an opinion on the color of your own tooth. I went in to his office for the first time around May 2020 to get a temporary front tooth Cap put on & get an impression of my mouth so he could send it off to the lab for a New Permanent one in replacement of the temporary one I had barely still on & was time for it to be done anyway. But, I couldn't believe his "Bedside Manner". I was in shock of how much he loves what does & actually cares about what the patient wanted as well. And that matters a lot in my book. I will never go to another Dentist again! I am so glad l finally found a Great One! I'll be seeing you soon!
