In practice for over 20 years, Dr. Niland stays current with the latest advances in orthodontics with memberships in the Western Treasure Valley Dental Association, Idaho State Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics.

Dr. Niland received his undergraduate degree from the University of Idaho and a degree in Pharmacy from Idaho State University. He spent the next five years as a practicing Pharmacist in the bay area of California. He later attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he earned his dental degree, and was accepted into a two year orthodontic specialty residency. He then returned to Nampa and enjoys his contemporary, friendly and professional orthodontic practice.

Dr. Niland is very active in his community, participating in many local charity fundraisers and supporting sponsoring numerous little league football and soccer teams. He is the father of two wonderful sons and loves spending time with them. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, backpacking, cycling and spending time with his large extended family in the Treasure Valley. Dr. Niland likes to follow college football and basketball. He also enjoys the NFL and is a big Green Bay Packers fan!

We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Cheryl Cheryl has worked with Dr. Niland since he started his practice in 1996. She earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the College of Idaho and enjoys accounting. She is currently doing the payroll, accounts payable and financial functions for the practice. Cheryl and her husband, Larry, have 6 rambunctious grandsons and 1 granddaughter Besides spending time with her family, Cheryl enjoys gardening, walking and needlework.

Rachel Rachel has worked for Dr. Niland since 2007. As our Treatment Coordinator, she will be your initial contact when you visit our office. She will discuss the treatment recommendations of Dr. Niland and answer any questions that may arise. Rachel has been involved in orthodontics for many years and truly enjoys interacting with our wonderful patients and their families. Rachel was born and raised in the Treasure Valley. She is the mother of two beautiful children: a son and a daughter. Her favorite activity is spending time with her family outside barbecuing, baking and going to her kids sporting events.

Tanya 'T' Tanya, also known as 'T', has been working with Dr. Niland since May 2007. As an assistant Tanya manages the patent 's care from start to finish, and she enjoys every step to a finished smile. Tanya was born in Virginia and after her father 's military career settled here in the Treasure Valley. She has been married to her wonderful husband since March 2007. Tanya also, has a beautiful son and daughter.Tanya enjoys spending time with her family, camping, fishing, UTV riding and anything related to the outdoors.
