Dr. Kiwon Shin graduated from NYU College of Dentistry IFTD in 1985, and is currently serving there as a Clinical Assistant Professor since 2000. He is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a leading Bone Graft procedure performer. He has lectured on various topics such as aesthetic dentistry, immediate implant placement and temporization, computer-guided surgery, and bone graft procedures. He is former President of the Korean American Dental Association. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Korean Community Service Center (KCS).
Dr. Witold R. Wegorzewski graduated from NYU Washington Square College of Arts & Science and graduate school. He also graduated from SUNY Buffalo School of Dentistry. He is a former faculty of Operative Dentistry at SUNY Buffalo School of Dentistry as well as NYU School of Dentistry. He is a member of the First District Manhattan Dental Society and Nassau County Dental Society. He is also a life member of the New York State Dental Society and American Dental Society.
Dr. Patricia Seo-Huynh was born and raised in Queens, New York. She graduated from SUNY Binghamton and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry in 2007. She completed her General Practice Residency at New York Hospital Queens, where she was awarded with the Dr. Lawrence Diamond Award. In 2014, she completed a 3-year program at NYU for Implantology and stayed a 4th year as Clinic Associate. She is also a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Karen H. Lewkowitz has been in practice for over 25 years in the Bayside, Little Neck, and Great Neck areas. Her extensive Orthodontic experience, stellar reputation, and caring nature makes her a welcome addition to our practice and very popular with our orthodontic patients. She is a graduate of Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine. Her Orthodontic Specialty training was at NYU College of Dentistry and she graduated at the top of her class. She was Past President of the Queens County Dental Society of the American Dental Association and Past Chairperson of the National Children's Dental Health committee for Queens County Dental Society. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Nassau County Dental Society. She has lectured in both Queens and Nassau Counties, and her honors include receiving a Presidential Citation for her work as President and Regent for Alpha Omega, and a distinct honor of being a fellow of the American College of Dentists. She is also involved with the Great Neck School DistricCareer Internship Program and is a Past Chairperson of the United Parent Teacher Committee of the Gifted and Talented students of the Great Neck School District.
Dr. Monte Miller has been in practice as a pediatric dentist for over 35 years. Growing up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison and graduated with honors and distinction. Dr. Miller went on to do research as a PhD Fellow in Human Oncology at the McArdle Laboratory. Then, he went on to dental school and graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Afterwards, he completed a 2-year pediatric residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and received his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Miller has been on staff at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Stony Brook University Hospital, Beth Israel Medical Center, Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan and he is currently the chair of Pediatric Dentistry at Queens Hospital (AKA-NYC Health & Hospitals-Queens) an affiliate of Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Miller feels very fortunate to have been given this gift that enables him to improve the quality of the life of the children that he treats. He loves making dentistry fun for the children, so they are left with a positive feeling about going to the dentist. The most fulfilling part of his job is to watch over and help shape the smiles of his young patients. He has the pleasure of always saying, 'I believe every child should get a chance to experience a healthy and beautiful smile and have fun going to the dentist.'
