In the coastal plain region of eastern North Carolina, two dentists: Dr. George Edwards, Jr., and Dr. Donald Henson, saw a growing need to provide dentures and tooth extractions at a price their patients could afford.
Turning away patients because dental care was too costly didnt sit well with the two doctors. So, in 1975 they opened the first Affordable Dentures practice inside of a two-story home in Kinston, North Carolina.
Today, the same commitment to affordable and high-quality tooth replacement solutions found in that two-story home is now delivered across the United States inside nearly 400 clinics, now known as Affordable Dentures & Implants, which represents the expanded service offerings and advanced high-quality care offered to our patients.
Through their care for patients, Dr. Edwards and Dr. Henson also discovered how important it was to provide immediate dentures with same-day service, especially for patients who often traveled great distances.
To this day, almost every affiliated Affordable Dentures & Implants practice has an on-site laboratory that is committed to providing same-day dentures and convenient dental care to patients as needed.

Our team is dedicated to giving back in the communities where we live and work through our time, talent and dental care services.
Affordable Dentures & Implants clinical and laboratory employees generously donate their time and talent at free dental clinics hosted by Mission of Mercy chapters across the United States. The mobile clinics provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery, x-rays and dentures to patients in need. The Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers provide on-site dental care and dental laboratories to fabricate dentures. Oftentimes, if it were not for the Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers, patients who visit the free clinics would not have access to free dentures or have their current dentures repaired free of charge.
Doctors and clinical team members from Affordable Dentures & Implants attend training programs to advance their skills in surgical and restorative elements of implant dentistry. The patients treated in the programs are patients in need, who are unable to afford dental care, including homeless individuals, military veterans and victims of domestic abuse.

I accompanied a friend through the procedure of having a partial to full dentures. It took only a couple of appointments and she walked out with a beautiful natural looking set of dentures. It boosted her self esteem 100 percent. She looks 10 years younger. The change in her is truly phenomenal. She needed to have several teeth removed. I was a little worried about this. She said all she felt was some pressure and it was over. The day they pulled her teeth was the day they put her dentures in. This was great. I wear denture myself it is important to have the teeth placed as soon as possible. I wear my dentures always. I found that friends who waited weeks to get dentures e n.v ded up not wearing them!!! It is much easier to mayst to the dentures if they are worn as soon as possible after having your teeth pulled. She too is wearing her dentures. She needs to only have her dentures lined to be finished. She has had little problem with fit. She has been able to use a finger nail file remove any rough spots. It is best to let the doctor do this. Janice was treated great by this office. I asked many questions and they answered them without a problem. I have made an appointment to have have denture implants. It will kick my dentures into place. I am excited about this. I will post my review as soon as I am finished. From the information I have learned it will be welcomed improvement. I have always had difficulty chewing. My first appointment I have made for a week from today. I don't know about other Affordable Denture Offices but this one is a worth checking out. Janice Reed is the second person I have taken to this office the first was Shannon McCanney. She too was happy with her procedure. Looks great. Sincerely Susan Overstreet . This is an honest review. A solid 4 stars. I took one off for old magazines.

I am a disabled Senior living in the Paradise, CA area and physically unable to go to my regular dentist in San Jose. I read all the hype about Affordable Denture's timely service and so called dignity to patients. I went there on 11/20/13 and was told I would have my lower dentures in two weeks (12/4/13). I paid $840.00 and was told I would absolutely positively have the partial in time for the X-Mas Holidays. I called16 days later, 12/6/13, and was put on hold. I called again three days later, 12/9/13 and was told, "They would call me." They never called. On 1/3/14, 44 days after I had paid, I wrote the owner Patricia Bezad a Certified letter asking for a refund. Got zero response. On 2/5/14, 33 days after my first letter I sent a second Certified letter asking again for a refund. Got zero response again. On 2/20/14 I filed a claim against Patricia Bezad at CA Superior Court, Yuba City, for my $840.00 refund. She has treated me with zero regard, indecency and worthlessness. I have no teeth to eat and this owner will not refund my money so I can buy them and eat normally. The whole experience with Dr. Patricia Bezad is a nightmare. Court is scheduled for 4/3/14.
