Dr. Parvin Carter has over 30 years of experience in Dentistry; she is a Preferred Provider of Invisalign and the director of A Redding Invisalign Center. She received her degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery, from Indiana University Dental School, in 1982, after which she immediately opened her private practice.
In July 1990 she received fellowship award from academy of General Dentistry. This award requires 600 hours of continuing education and passing required examination. In July 2000 Dr. Carter received Mastership award from Academy of General Dentistry. This is the highest award for continuing education. This award requires 800hours of participation in dentistry specialties. According to the Journal of the Academy of General Dentistry, only 1% of US dentists achieve this high level of advancement.
In June 2015, she was awarded the Fellowship of InternationalCongress of Oral Implantologists, ICOI. The technique of placing a dental implant is continually improving. Dr. Carter as a member ofInternationalCongress of Oral Implantologists: ICOI. She gets continuously, the latest technology and training in this area.

I spent a lot of money for crowns and cavities to be filled. The first crown had to be fixed because it was not properly fitted. Now I have two crown's that are lifted and were not properly placed in the initial service. I was told by Dr. Carters head technician that my gums had receded and that is what the problem is. I have had other opinions and it is due to sloppy work.

She left a nerve in my root canal after she did twice and now three years later there's a nerve left in the root canal that she worked on. I can't afford it I don't have money I think she should pay for it completely. I'm currently on streets asking for money. If your looking an number #1 dentist she is not it, I recommend anyone else than her, she is only willing to help pay not even half, I'm homeless, living in the streets, and she left a nerve in my tooth.

Best and nicest dentist in town. Very generous and helpful to the community. Even has free days she donates for people who can't afford dental care. Staff and manager are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional! Highly recommend if you need a dentist. She also does Invisalign. And many years experience

I used to have a fear of going to the dentist and refused to go for about three years. My sister convinced me to come here to get a cleaning and after rescheduling a couple appointments I finally came and it was the best experience I've ever had at a dentist. The entire staff is so wonderful & after I left and looked at my teeth I began to get emotional because of how beautiful they looked. I thought I had irreversible decay on my front two bottom teeth from not flossing when I had braces and she scraped it all off completely and I didn't feel a thing. So grateful for this office, thank you for a wonderful experience. See you in 6 months.

I Love Dr Carter and all of her staff. She is so thorough and really took the time to show me the issues with my bite. Monique is the best hygienist and is very gentle. If you are looking for a great dentist, she's the one! Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly!!

I love coming to Dr. Carter's office, all of the staff is so friendly and caring, they make you feel right at home. Monique is one of the most gentle hygienists I have ever been too, and she cares so much about making sure her patient is comfortable and gets a thorough cleaning- I love that! Dr. Carter is also so caring, and truly loves to make sure her patients are taken care of, it really makes you feel special to have someone that cares so much about making sure your needs are taken care of! ALL of the staff is just so wonderful, I can't imagine going anywhere else.

My family has been going to Dr Carter for oral care for several years now and I have only experienced exceptional work and expertise from her and her staff. Everyone carries a strong work ethic and gives customer satisfaction a front seat. It is refreshing in this day and age to find an organization that is both friendly, efficient and proficient at what they do. Excellence is obviously a high priority in this dental office. The several families I have referred over to the office all concur that this is the place for Dental Care in Redding.

Dr. Carter is professional, friendly & has a gift for putting her patients at ease! Dr. Carter's office is very clean & her staff is extremely accommodating. I have recommended Dr. Carter to many of my friends, and had positive results. She is candid & offers options that are reasonable. Dr. Carter is also great with my kids and knows how to reduce their anxiety. I would never go anywhere else!
