Dr. Nowell Gray believes everybody deserves a beautiful smile and a healthy mouth. Which is why he strives for excellence in a variety of dental procedures, never forgetting there is a person behind the teeth. With todays dental technology and techniques, patients are not forced to choose between function or esthetics. No one should have to sacrifice their smile in order to achieve longevity in their dental restorations.
Dr. Nowell Gray earned his doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Southern California in 2005. Prior to this he received a bachelors of science degree in biochemistry from La Sierra University, California. He worked for 10 years at a large cosmetic dental practice in Manhattan Beach, and he is thrilled to bring his expertise to Louisville, Kentucky.
While attending dental school, Dr. Gray worked with several dental aid organizations including the Union Rescue Mission and the Mobile Childrens Clinic. Once graduated, he volunteered for the Childrens Dental Clinic as well as Homeless Not Toothless. Lately, he has been working with the charity Solace for the Children.
Nowell Gray was born and raised in Riverside, California, which is located about 2 hours from Los Angeles. He enjoys snowboarding, fishing, and the occasional Wiffle ball game. Sports were a big part of his life growing up, having played high school baseball and soccer. Still, he trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He currently resides in Saint Mathews.
