Dr. Nouman Bashir has called West Chester home for over 25 years. After graduating from B. Reed Henderson High School, Dr Bashir entered Howard University BS/DDS program. He received his B.S. degree in Biology and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Howard University in Washington DC in 2010. He continued on to complete his General Practice Residency at St Joseph Medical Center in Reading PA.
Since, he has attended countless hours of continuing education, with special emphasis on cosmetic dentistry. Dr Bashir is a perfectionist when it comes to his dentistry and he wants to exceed his patients expectations.

Ever since I was a kid I have had nothing but horrible dental experiences left to right but thankfully after visiting this practice I got a huge wake up call in regards to how things can be done, I've had two fillings and a root canal with Dr. Bashir and on all three occasions I did not experience any pain while the job was being done nor after the visit. The job he does is clean and most importantly precise and miles ahead of anyone I've had prior to seeing him.

I HATE going to the dentist more than anything. Dr. Bashir is by far the best dentist I've ever had and makes the experience a breeze. He's down to earth, upfront with everything and the staff is super friendly. I almost fell asleep in the chair during a deep cleaning! That's how easy and pain free of an experience he provides. Highly recommended!

My son is very About the dentist. Doctor bashir was very patient and understanding of this. He explained everything that he was going to do, which put my son's mind at ease and made the process that much easier. The procedure was pain free, my sons teeth feel better. I had a veneer pop off on a Saturday evening and was my smile was suddenly horrifying. Dr. Bashir answered his phone on a Sunday, and let me come in right away where reattached the veneer to my tooth. He was helpful and accommodating. I think I have found my new dentist. Thank you Dr. Bashir!

Let me tell you in short how great Dr. Bashir is: I drove two and a half hours to see him--AND I WILL DO IT AGAIN! I met Dr. Bashir when he was a student in D.C. and remember just what kind of demeanor he has, care he puts in, and skill he practices with. When I had a piece of a tooth break off around a large filling on a Thursday night and suddenly needed see a dentist I was worried. When I thought about who I might be comfortable with, whose judgment I could trust, and who wouldn't find extra things to do that may not be covered by insurance, Dr. Bashir is who I thought of. I looked him up and called him. He set me up for a Saturday appointment after checking to make sure I wasn't in immediate pain and telling me he could help me identify a dentist in D.C. if I was. Driving so far, I ended up a little bit late, but he and his staff treated me like I was the only priority they had. He paid attention to all these little details and explained every single thing to me clearly. He went the extra mile to make sure I didn't have any pain and worked to make me as comfortable as possible. I was taken care of like how I would take care of a family member. He did what he judged was necessary and nothing extra, making sure to get my consent. It was fast and his skill in molding a temporary fill was incredible--it is impossible to tell apart from the original tooth. He took extra time on the bite test as well, to ensure I wouldn't have any pain after. Despite being so thorough, he was so fast that I didn't even realize he had worked a cleaning in. I noticed when I went to the restroom to rinse my mouth one more time, smiled and saw my teeth cleaner and whiter than any other trip I've ever had to the dentist. My issue was resolved painlessly and the worry is gone. Dr. Bashir went above and beyond. Highly, highly, highly recommended. He was worth an almost three hour drive. Next time I need to see the dentist, I will plan a weekend trip to Philly and go see him in West Chester. I don't want anyone else working on me.
