Dr. Nicole Mitchell is a native of Connecticut who moved to Tampa and graduated from Gaither High School. After high school she attended the University of South Florida where she received her Bachelors Degree in chemistry and went on to the University of Florida where she received her DMD degree. After graduating she served in the United States Army were she was able to obtain advanced dental training and was stationed at Ft. Benning, GA. Following the military Dr. Mitchell has been serving the New Tampa area since 2006. Dr. Mitchell takes pride in building patient relationships and doing her very best to cater to every patients needs. She is dedicated to the newest advancements in dentistry and keeps up to date with latest technologies.
Dr. Benjamin Ghaly is a Tampa native and has spent the majority of his life in the greater Tampa area. Following high school, he attended the University of South Florida, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Integrative Animal Biology. He then went on to attend Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Dr. Ghaly has a strong passion for both dentistry and the patients that he serves. He places a significant emphasis on open communication with his patients. He is committed to ensuring that every patient is clearly explained their treatment options and given the opportunities to discuss the best option for them.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ghaly loves spending time with his family and friends. He has a strong commitment to personal fitness and stays active by regularly working out at the gym and playing soccer. He is an avid fan of all of the sports teams in Tampa Bay, and can regularly be found attending a Bucs, Rays, Lightning, or Rowdies game!
Shayne graduated from Florida College of Medical and Dental Assisting. She has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of dentistry. She continues to take continuing education courses and grow in knowledge and expertise. She loves her field and the joy of changing smiles and educating her patients as well as making sure we meet their needs.
Jozsef has decades of customer service experience in fields ranging from insurance, investment advice, and retirement planning. His experience spans from working for the Federal Government to operating a small business. He is originally from a small town called Peculiar, Missouri yet has lived in big cities such as Phoenix, Arizona and Istanbul, Turkey. He has a Bachelors degree in Science and Minor in Public Administration. Jozsef finds joy in helping people feel comfortable and at home during each of their interactions with Dr. Mitchells dental office.
Megan, originally from Panama City Beach, FL, moved to the Tampa area when she was 11. She brings to our office over 10 years of experience in human resources. Megan enjoys getting to know her patients and always making them feel welcomed.
When she isnt at the office, she spends most of her time with her husband and three boys watching hockey, baseball and football. Megan enjoys cooking, camping and fishing. She also is an avid animal lover and would have a houseful of dogs, cats and goats if her family let her!
Denise is originally from Bethpage, NY. She graduated from PHCC where she received her degree in Nursing. Denise worked in the nursing field for 15 years in various positions and decided it was time for a change. She is enjoying learning about the field of Dentistry.
Elisama was born and raised in southern Texas and moved to Riverview Florida on her husbands military orders. Her service in the United States Air Force, strengthened her passion for dentistry and treating patients. She currently holds an Associate degree in Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, and a Bachelors degree in Biology. Her goal is to attend dental school and transition into a military dental officer.
Eveline, originally from West Palm Beach, moved to Tampa a few years ago to attend the University of South Florida, earning a degree in Behavioral Healthcare. Eve is an aspiring Dental Hygienist. Eve loves meeting and getting to know new people from all different walks of life, she believes that with each person she meets she is granted the opportunity to learn something new.
Erin is originally from North Dakota. She received her education in Minnesota and has also lived in Washington and Idaho before making Florida her home. She has been a Dental Hygienist since 2005 and enjoys getting to know her patients and providing individualized care.
Anna was born in Brandon and now currently lives in Dade City. She graduated from Pasco-Hernando State College. Anna enjoys spending time with her patients and helping them with their oral hygiene. She makes it her mission to make every patient feel at home while treating them with respect and care.
Tomi has spent most of his life in Florida and graduated from Hillsborough Community college as a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist in 2016. Tomi has a passion for taking care of his patients and making them feel welcome.
Sydney is a true native of Tampa. She is a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist with a certification to administer local anesthesia. She obtained her Bachelors degree in Health Sciences from the University of South Florida. Go Bulls! Her goal is to provide a comfortable and positive experience for all of her patients and to ensure they leave with a smile.
Outside of the office, you can find Sydney rooting for her favorite sports team, the Tampa Bay Lightning! She also enjoys spending time with her family, meeting new people and being outdoors, especially on the water.
Brittany graduated from Sanford Brown Institute in Tampa, Florida. She has 4 years of experience working in the dental field and is continuing to grow and learn new things every day. She loves working with patients making them feel better about themselves by having a healthy smile. She feels accomplished when she can make a patient feel comfortable and smile with confidence.
Vickie graduated from Erwin Vocational Technical School Dental Assisting program in 1991. She has over 26 years of experience in the dental field and has taken additional education courses over the years to continually learn and grow in her field of assisting. Vickie enjoys working with the patients by listening to their concerns, educating and helping them to achieve a smile that looks and feels great.
Rosa was born and raised in Chicago and moved to the Tampa area in 2015. She brings to our office over 20 years of experience as a dental assistant. Rosa enjoys getting to know her patients and always making them feel comfortable.
In January of 2016, we welcomed to the office nine week old Max and Mandy. Named after the Maxillary and Mandibular jaw, these therapy dogs were trained for the purpose of providing comfort and kindness to our patients. In accordance with the ADA, these Maltese Shih Tzu companions have been statistically shown to reduce stress and anxiety in patients as well as improving mental and physiological health.
Alongside roaming the office, Max and Mandy enjoy sitting on the laps of patients and a good belly rub. While both dogs are of the same breed, they have very unique personalities. Max is very active and playful while Mandy is more calm and sweet. Together the siblings work to brighten your day as we brighten your smile. If Max and Mandy are in during your next visit, please feel free to pick them up and hold them at any time.

I had my appointment at Blue Water Dental today. Dr. Ghaly and Brittany did an amazing job! The office is clean, chic, and modern on the inside. I was very impressed and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Be careful. Do not visit this dentistry if you have other options. I did an implant two-three years back and the cap came loose. I went over to get it addressed and I was told that I had gum infection and that the cap on top of the implant is not fixable. I was recommended comprehensive exam and two deep cleaning. Ideally if there are issues with cap on the implant the other dentist offices are fixing them without additional cost. I went over to another two dentists and the diagnosis was completely opposite - I do not have a gum infection and the implant is fixable. Avoid this dentist office if you can and specially Dr Nicole - Very disappointing.

I would highly recommend these ladies to anyone looking for a new Dentist or just general information. Everyone was very knowledgeable from the beginning to the end of my visit and made my dental care plan easy to understand. The fur babies are just an addition to such a great staff and a clean environment. Very happy to have my teeth in great hands!

My wife and kids went to this dentist. When our insurance changed, they couldn't figure out if it was covered. They finally told us it was. When the statement came, it showed up out of network however, they paid more than they previously did when in network. Because it was out of network, they still charged us the difference and didn't offer the discounts they did when in network. There was no reasoning with them when calling the office. Customer service was less than desirable. Found a different dentist practice where you actually get customer service and great care. I warned them if they continued to bill me I would share my experience in a review. They threatened to send me to collections over this and I didn't feel it was worth it and paid the bill. Stay away from this practice.

The best! I moved to Tampa 5 years ago and visited several dentists in the area, but Dc Mitchell is absolutely the best. Very knowledgeable and her work is BEAUTIFUL. I get so many compliments on my smile. Highly recommend.

Dr. Nicole Mitchell is a great dentist! I have been coming here for about 5 years and i really enjoy their staff and service. They are all very friendly and try to get to know more about you during your visits. Appointments may take a while for first timers but they are working on expanding!

Although, we love Dr. Mitchell, the front office staff is horrible. Since placing Shane and the other goofy lady in the front office to consult with any existing or potential client (i.e. schedule any appointments), the front office seems to be much more worse with their miscommunication of patient insurance and talking behind patients backs upon leaving their dental appointments. And, it has been this way for a couple of years now. Dr. Mitchell, before anyone apply a rebuttal to my comment, simply think about how your dental practice use to be when Vanessa and the other young lady was in your front office. Sometimes making a cost-saving adjustment internally becomes a curse internally. As a result, please don't allow others to destroy your good reputation and your dental practice because you are a very good dentist (DMD). However, for these reasons, my family and I decided to move onward to another dentist. I pray that things will change for the future of any potential new clients. And, Dr. Mitchell, thank you greatly for your service to our nation as well.

Dr. Mitchell is the best dentist and the most honest. We have been seeing her for years. She has been done very quality work for us and never overcharge for anything. The whole family loves her. - Her work is excellent and the cleaning is done by her hygienists is always done thoroughly and they don't try to up charge more money from what our insurance covers. Plus all the staff is very nice and accommodating. They have been with the practice for many years and they are all individuals from our New Tampa Community. I can certainly give Dr. Mitchell's practice a 5 starts

I've had a really bd fear of dentists pretty much my whole life. Dr. Mitchell and her team, especially Brittany, are AMAZING. Not only did they put me at ease from the moment I walked in the door, their amazing therapy dogs, Max and Mandi were ready and willing to sit with me and calm me further. I can't thank them enough for making this total anxiety case, feel so calm and relaxed. Thank you. Five stars is not enough!
