Dr. Nicolas R. Metri moved from Lebanon in 1988. Four years later, he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northeastern University. He graduated from Tufts Dental School with a Doctor of Dental Medicine, DMD, in 1996. He practiced for 8 months as an associate in a dental office in West Roxbury before he opened his private practice and remained there ever since.
Dr. Metri is a member of the American Dental Association, The Mass. Dental Society, The Coastal MA ITI Study Club and is involved in local programs such as CHIP child identification program. He is regularly taking continuing education courses in all areas of dentistry. He believes that learning should never stop. Dr. Metri is dedicated to excellence and perfection. He takes his patients trust very seriously and commits himself to their care.
Dr. Metri resides in Braintree with his wife Rita, their daughter Sarah and twin boys Danny and Mark. Eating is his favorite hobby and luckily his wife is a great cook. He enjoys eating out, traveling, playing soccer with his kids and spending time with family and friends.
Mina Pavaresh, Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Mount Ida College in Boston, Ma with an associate degree in 2002. Working for 11 years as a dental hygienist, Mina earned lots of experience treating patients from the ages of 2 to 99 years old, she also worked with special needs patients, patients with highly dental sensitivity or extremely fearful on the dental chair. Mina has local anesthesia and CPR certification and continues to further her knowledge every year by maintaining at least 12 hours of CE courses to provide the best quality dental care available to all her patients.
Debbie was born and raised in the SouthShore area. She started in the medical field back in 1990 at Carney Hospital. In 1995 to present, she has worked as a dental receptionist where she welcomes patients with a smile and answers any questions patients might have. Debbie has a husband and two sons. They all enjoy spending time together watching and going to sporting events, she also has a dog she loves dearly and spends her free time with him.

I was given Dr. Metri as an eligible practice by my mother's insurance with Tufts Health. I scheduled an appointment on October 18 for dentures for my 95 year old mother and completed all of the documents as required. When we arrived, we checked in with the receptionist, completed some additional paper work and was told to have a seat and my mother would be called. After about 15 minutes Dr Metri called us in. My mother is in a wheel chair and when we entered the room, he said that he could not see us as he needed to check insurance for payment. However, she was covered and her insurance company stated there was no reason to refuse to serve my mother. Then he said that his office called to move appointment. Although his office may have called, I did not receive a message. It appeared that he was making excuses not to serve us. Why, granted I was casually dressed and we are people of color but why were we treated this way? I am a retired educational administrator with a graduate degree and could have easily paid out of pocket. He did not apologize or offer another appointment and said that we would be called. Of course we were not called. Dr Metri was very rude and we were not treated with dignity. We went to Dr Lee in Burlington who was on the list as well. I completed the same paper work and she was served. In my opinion, he was disrespectful and this behavior is unacceptable.

It is always a pleasant when the receptionist and the staff is kind and patients to attend the visitors...they do such a great job with the cleanings as well...

Dr Metri is a great dentist. Very knowledgeable and compassionate. Debbie his office assistant is also wonderful and always greets you with a smile. I notice that they take all the COVID precautions and I feel very safe there.Overall it is a great experience. I give them a 5 star rating! Jack B.

I have always been very afraid of the dentist since I was a child they made me feel relaxed comfortable and safe I would definitely recommend him as a dentist and his staff was very friendly as well

Dr Metri is the best dentist that my family has been to. He is professional his office is sparkling clean and he does unbelievable work on our teeth and keeping them in great shape! We are all very happy with Dr Metri , his staff is also terrific. They go above and beyond to try to give all a good experience.

Dr. Metri has is an awesome dentist! I have dental anxiety and everytime he is very patient and explains what's he's doing to put me at ease. First time with a dentist that didn't need an assistant because he is just that experienced.

I have been a patient of Dr Metri for over 25 years. He is extremley professional and a very caring doctor. He will explain everything you may have questions about your procedure being done. His staff is so friendly. Debbie is awesome! I am so lucky to have Dr Metri as my dentist.

Dr. Metri is a little intimidating when you first meet him because he is focused on the goal at hand "Healthy teeth". But , once you meet him for a session or two he becomes very comfortable. He is awesome. He made me want to smile again.

My first visit ended up being a root canal procedure. I was not surprised by needing the root canal procedure but. Dr. Metri was so professional and comforting. The procedure was painless as Dr. Metri really know his craft. I am not looking forward to all the dental work I need done but I know I am in good hands with Dr. Metri. My adult son also is a patient of Dr. Metri and he loves him. Definitely would refer all my family and friends to this Wonderful Dentist. Valerie

I had an excellent treatment at Dr. Nicolas, i usually dislike dentists, every time i think of visiting any dentist i get worried, but i really am relieved now and i can truly tell my friends not all of them are the same, now i am not worrying any more and i am looking forward to my next appointment

Kind, friendly, compassionate expert dental care for the whole family! We love Dr. Metri's practice. He and his Staff are so easy to talk to and we are more than satisfied with his treatment recommendations and service. If you're tired of impersonal "assemblely line" managed care" practices, come for a consultation and you'll be surprised that caring practitioners still exist.

I have been a patient here since 15 years old! Dr metri is excellent! Patient, and caring, it's almost like he is caring for family member's teeth. Let's talk about his incredible receptionist, Debbie! She's diligent, and caring, and takes the time to call prior to your appointment sometimes a few days before to sweetly jog your memory . She's a pleasure , very humble , non judgmental, and treats everyone like they matter no matter what race or orientation. People like Debbie often get overlooked , but she is the heart and backbone of that company . Always working hard and finds ways to schedule you soon as possible . She's so friendly, and professional with a sense of such humane compassion. This is a wonderful dentistry. It's very clean and inviting and safe. I'm so greatly Thankful and humbled by my wonderful, continuing experiences here . I would highly recommend!
