Dr. Nick Brown Dental Care is a full-service dental practice serving Birmingham, Hoover, Pelham, Helena, and surrounding areas. Dr. Brown strives to meet all long-term dental health and short term priorities with personalized and professional dental care. Our office offers a comfortable, relaxing environment where you will meet an efficient team dedicated to exceeding your expectations.
Born and raised in Decatur, Alabama, Nick Brown, DMD, grew up working in his fathers orthodontics practice. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama and University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. Dr. Brown has also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Albany Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. He returned home to Alabama and joined a private practice in Cullman where he practiced general dentistry for five years. In 2015, he joined the practice of Dr. Michael Meon who has since retired, and went on to establish Dr. Nick Brown Dental Care to continue providing the best dental care to area residents.
Cindi has practiced as a dental assistant for 13 years. She has a keen eye for detail, which serves her well in her position, as well as outside the office, as a photographer. Cindi ensures that every patients experience is comfortable, efficient, and successful. She has two daughters who are her world and enjoys working at Dr. Nick Brown Dental Care because of the family atmosphere.
Sheena is originally from Florence, Alabama. She has been a dental hygienist for 8 years. After beginning college at UNA, she then pursued her Dental Hygiene degree at Wallace State CC. She loves being a hygienist because she enjoys helping patients and being able to truly see a difference when they leave her chair. Patients love her too because she is a very warm, friendly and gentle person, which are great qualities for your hygienist! She enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as going to the beach, playing golf and tennis. She also regularly attends church in Birmingham and enjoys spending time with her church family.
Sabrina is originally from Southern California, but she has lived in Alabama for the past 20 years. She received her training in dentistry at 23rd Naval Dentistry in California. She is also a certified X-ray and Lab Technician. She has almost 30 years of experience in the dental field and will undoubtedly instill confidence in patients, as well as a sense of warmth. Sabrina loves spending her free time with her husband and four children, two boys and two girls. She also enjoys traveling, cooking and being active outdoors.
Dr. Brown lives in the Birmingham area and spends his free time playing tennis, attending community events, and enjoying time with friends and family. In addition to work and play, Dr. Brown is committed to dental volunteerism and has participated in numerous dental volunteer programs, including traveling to Peru to bring dental care to those in need.He also spends many hours each year completing dental continuing education courses so that he and his staff can deliver the best in current dental care to patients.

I haven't been to a dentist in more years than I can remember mostly from bad experiences. Dr. Brown and his staff put me at ease and gave me a great experience even though I had to have a tooth pulled. I highly recommend Dr. Brown if you are looking for a dentist. He is so cheerful as well. I can't say enough about him and all his staff.

I moved to Hoover, AL 2.5 years ago. I saw Dr. Brown's sign while driving down Valleydale Rd and decided to give him a try. He and his staff are friendly, kind, and gentle. I'm glad I made the choice to visit this dental office!

After a crown got lifted by an Endodontist during a root canal, Dr. Brown and Lauren took my call and saw me after closing time to fix my crown and bite. They worked on it for over an hour and a half to get it right. This is a dentist and team that truly care about their patients. Thank you Dr. Brown and Lauren!

I have always been terrified of the dentist, and was scared out of my mind and in pain. Dr.Brown talked me through every step and made me feel comfortable and safe. He did an awesome job on my tooth and will be doing all of my dental work from now on.

Everything went very smoothly from scheduling, registering and the dental service provided. Dr. Brown and his staff are very personable and aim to provide the best dental care and customer service in a comfortable setting. Having a message chair as the dental chair helps, and there is an emphasis on patient relaxation. It did not feel like a dental factory/mill and my procedure went very well. I would recommend some upgrades to the parking lot (lines to demarcate parking slots) and the waiting room, as these would improve initial impressions of the practice. Recognizing dental practices can be very busy, I would also recommend improved communication between staff to ensure all needs are met as best as possible.

First time patient and hadn't been to the dentist since I was a teenager. Luckily there was a cancelation so they took me the same day I called for an appointment! The staff is amazing and didn't make me feel bad for putting it off for so long. They said "welcome back" to seeing a dentist and made me feel comfortable. Sheena did a great job cleaning my teeth and made sure I wasn't uncomfortable. She seriously transformed my teeth and I could tell she loves taking care of her patients. Dr Brown was thorough, listened to what I needed and explained everything well. They even scheduled my next appointment for the following week to get me taken care of. Looking forward to continuing to see them for my dental needs! Can't recommend them enough!

Staff was very friendly, I made an appointment at 830 am and was seen at 11am same day. No wait at all, they greeted me by name as a new customer. I was in and out in 20 minutes. She made my appointment at the endodontist for me. Glad I chose to use this company . I will be using again for my future dentist needs ( hopefully not very much, I hate the dentist)

All around great experience. Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Dr. Brown was straight to the point about the treatment plan but not in a hurried "I'm busy" kinda way but more of a "let's get you feeling better" way

You should go see them!! Staff is so nice and friendly, and they really make you feel at home. Dr. Brown is awesome and makes you feel comfortable and at ease, and he explains procedures/plans in an easy-to-understand format. I will be going to them for years to come!! Two thumbs up.

I just had some "real" work done on my teeth for the first time in years. Dr. Brown and his staff were kind, professional and put me at my ease. As a person who had a very traumatic childhood experience, having real dental work can be daunting, but Dr. Brown made it a breeze! Perfectionism may not be a character we all strive for, but it is pretty awesome to have in your dentist. Dr. Nick Brown has given me a beautiful smile, while being a pleasure to work with. He is kind and explains details, calls to check on his patients, has positive work relationships with his staff, does detailed excellent work and provides free whitening to his regular patients. Wow! I highly recommend Dr. Nick Brown.
