Dr. Rush grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. Graduated from Centre College in 1972, and the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1977. Dr. Rush has lived and practiced in Cynthiana since 1977. He is married to Katherine Lebus Rush, a teacher at Saint Edwards Elementary School. They have three children and one grandson. Dr. Rush enjoys fly fishing, hiking, and camping. He is active in the Kentucky Dental Association and many civic organizations.
I was born in Lexington, KY, to parents who worked in the Thorobred industry. We traveled extensively with the Thorobred racing circuit before finally landing in Cynthiana in 1970. I began my career in the dental field with Dr. Rush in 1986, handling the front office duties. I now specialize in the billing and insurance areas of the practice. I am always happy to answer any questions you may have and assist you in navigating your insurance plan
I have been with Dr. Rush since 2004. I began as a chairside assistant and then transitioned to my current position as receptionist and scheduling coordinator. I graduated from Deming High School and attended Maysville Community College and I still call Mt. Olivet home. I have 3 children, Landon, Andrew and Avery. When not at the office I enjoy cheering on the Ky Wildcats and my Robertson Co. Devils.
Cynthiana is where I was born and raised. I graduated from Harrison Co. High School. I started my dental career in 2010 as a chairside assistant for Dr. Rush while I attended hygiene school. I graduated from BCTC in 2012 and began working full time as a dental hygienist for Dr. Rush.
I was born in Fort Myers, FL and raised in Pendleton County KY. I've worked as a chairside dental assistant with Dr. Rush since 2015. I have 2 boys, Tate and Corvin. I enjoy watching my kids play sports and anything outdoors - hunting, fishing, etc. And I LOVE The Walking Dead!
I have lived in Harrison County most of my life and graduated from Harrison Co. High School. I received my Chairside Dental Assistant certification from Watterson College in Louisville, KY, and have made Dental Assisting my lifelong career.

I like dr rush, for him I'd give 5 stars. But whoever answers the phone said if dr rush's' office doesnt do your cleanings then they will NOT see you. If you've just had a cleaning elsewhere you have to wait 6m-1y for the next cleaning & let dr rush office do it before they'll even see you for anything else. Not sure how that's good for business. But guess I won't refer my friends & family there anymore.

They are ridiculous. They pulled my friends teeth and I wanted to leave and come back to get her later and they refused her service unless I was outside the whole time. I am 8 months pregnant sitting in a hot car when it's 83 outside and they don't care. This office is carless heartless and just unprofessional. There is no reason why any one should have to sit outside more than 20 minutes when they can come back. My friend is in here for over an hour I am sweating and no water but not like I can even leave to go buy water.

Dr. Rush has been my dentist for 27 years. He is absolutely the best, most caring, ethical professional I have ever dealt with. Oh, and the best dentist, too! He's not one to do more than you need, and will factor your ability to pay and discuss things with you concerning your treatment. His hygienists and support staff are also terrific and stay with him long term, which reflects well on his treatment of them. He is also wonderful with kids. Overall, I've never had a bad experience with him. Highly recommend!
