In 1989, she earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles (go Trojans!), where she earned a place at the top of her class. She specializes in family dentistry and cosmetic procedures and is a member of the Orange County Dental Society, California Dental Association and of course, the American Dental Association.

Hi, my name is Sylvia and I am happy to be apart of Dr. Murthy's practice and part of the team. I have over 26 years in the dental field. I first started in pediatric dentistry at an office in Whittier. I gained so much experience and knowledge in dental care to all our patients there. I was trained back office and became an RDA. I assisted for 10 years until I became a mom again to 2 boys. I took time to raise them at home until it was time to get back to the groove of things. As I returned back to the dental field, I started to transition to the front office where I began customer care to the clerical end of the practice. I enjoy meeting you all as you enter thru the doors. I also enjoy when they need my hands in the back to take x-rays or simply seat patients. After my day is done here, I go home to my wonderful family, my daughter Nina is 29 and has 2 children of her own, Peyton and Hailey. DJ 18 and Dean 17, keep my hands full teaching them about life. DJ is a student at Cal Poly Pomona studying Engineering and Dean is a Senior at La Habra HS. My best past time is hanging with my better half, Jeremy. We enjoy the movies and spending time with the kids and grandkids. Thank you for allowing me to ramble on and serving this great dental community.
Hi my name is Stephanie, I am Dr. Murthy's second dental assistant at her Fullerton office. When I am not with Dr. Murthy, I work as a front office administrator for different dental office. I have 6 years of experience as a back office RDA. I recently got married to my longtime boyfriend of 10 years. My goal is to go to hygiene school and advance in my dental career. I grew fond of dentistry after overcoming my fears of being a patient. I strive to have Dr. Murthy's patients feel at ease when in her dental chair. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my Pitskey, exercising, and binge watching TV. I look forward to being apart of your dental treatment and I hope to bring you a good experience at Dr. Murthy's office.

I want to thank all the staff at Dr. Nandini R. Murthy and especially the dental assistant and Dr. Murthy for their delicate and above satisfactory dental care. I have been to their facility on numerous occasions and have felt nothing but grateful and safe under their watch. I had my filings done here and it was a smooth and thoughtful experience. The staff is friendly and inviting and are very kind. I feel like I can ask any and all questions that pertain to my care here and am approached with honesty and patience when it comes to the knowledge they provide. Dr. Murthy is great and we had a great time chatting with regards to my future in healthcare. I would definitely recommend her if you are in the Fullerton and being right next to Fullerton College it's a prime location for any students like myself who could use a cleaning every now and then. Thank you guys for such a wonderful experience!

These ladies don't care about us what's there problem we came in for 2 venir crowns and dental straightening, THEY DONT CARE THEY MESSED UP OUR REFFERAL DIDNT EVEN TELL THEM, THAT I need crowns or dental straightening ON THE REFFERAL. IM FILING A GRIEVANCE ON BEHALF OF MY INSURANCE COMPANY, and getting a refund. I don't appreciate that.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Murthy for about 6-7 years. I highly recommend her. She is professional and personable. Her office is clean and sanitary. She is good with kids - mine started going there when they were about 10-12 years old. She has stable, long-term staff and they have always been pleasant, but some people I have referred told me the staff could smile more and be a little more friendly/cheerful. I would agree - they don't excel in this area. It would be nice if Dr. had some evening or weekend appointments and the parking situation in her newer office in Fullerton is very limited.
