Thank you for your interest in our Endodontic (root canal) practice. Our office is located one block away from the Oracle Headquarters building. Built next to one of the many Redwood Shores lagoons, the office is designed to provide patients a relaxing view of the lagoon and seasonal birds.
At Redwood Shores Endodontics, we understand the importance of having a dental practice that provides you with exceptional care. Our philosophy is to maintain the natural tooth as long as possible. We devote our practice to saving teeth that would otherwise be extracted due to extensive decay, fracture or infection. The preservation of the natural tooth is highly valuable. No tooth will be undertaken for treatment unless we believe that there is a very good chance for a successful outcome. Our staff is committed to serving each and every patient with attentive care and takes every effort to make your experience as pleasant as possible.
While use of traditional, small x-ray film was a necessity in the past, our office is equipped with modern digital x-ray equipment. Your digital x-rays will be evaluated on a high-resolution digital screen. Use of digital x-ray equipment results in several benefits to our patients:
Dr. Huynh is an Endodontist, a dentist specially trained and focused on providing care for dental pain and infection through root canal treatment or microsurgery. As an Endodontist, Dr. Huynh has obtained more knowledge and special skills through additional training after dental school and frequent continuing education. Dr. Huynh is always interested in keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in technology in order to ensure that patients receive the best quality of care.
Dr. Huynh believes that a team approach is important in providing complete dental care to her patients. With this in mind, she works closely with each patients general dentist. By communicating effectively with your general dentist, she can help you maintain optimum oral health and prevent tooth loss.

There is little to no "novacaine" available for patient,... Only seditive.... valium...or put to sleep....please have "novacaine" available

Need a root canal treatment? Stop shopping around. Dr. Nancy Huynh is the by far best endodontist I have ever met, and I mean it. I have serious issues with my teeth and I have been here twice already , plus my wife was in her clinic few months ago for a root canal treatment. She takes her time to make sure we are getting the best treatment. Honestly she told me to my face when I asked her how long does it take because I do not like to sit hours on dentist chair, she said " Please do not rush me, I will take my time to make sure you are getting the best root canal treatment, I am not racing with time here" and I loved it. And her personality, kindness, she is also a very sweet person. I am so lucky that I found her. Thank you Dr. Huynh.

Great experience with Dr. Huynh. Root canals aren't ideal and Dr. Huynh made the experience as painless as possible. Office staff was also very helpful. Overall a seamless experience.

First of all Dr Huynh made sure that I was comfortable. She done an excellent job on my tooth. She made sure I didn't feel any pain while doing my procedure and she was so patient with me as I had to go to the bathroom at 3 times. I am so very thankful my dentist referred me to her. Dr Huynh is a very sweet lady. I would recommend my family and friends to her. Thank you Dr. Huynh!!!

Dr. Huynh painlessly and skillfully provided top notch endodontic treatment on two of my teeth several months ago. I was somewhat anxious due to painful dental experiences at other providers, but she prepares you for the procedure by putting you at ease with excellent anesthesia prep. She and her staff are extremely hospitable. I found the procedure to be quite comfortable. She provided me with a Valium tablet an hour before the procedure, and draped a blanket over me to encourage me to nap. The operatory is located next to a lagoon with a large bay window. While I don't ever want to have to undergo that procedure again, the comfort and professionalism of their staff pit me at ease and allayed dental anxiety for any future problems.

Hard to believe it's been over 11 years that I've seeing Dr. Nancy. I had cancer of the nasal pharynx in 1997 and needed radiation and chemo. The radiation gave me dry mouth and throughout the years my teeth have needed numerous crowns from my regular dentist and several root canals from her. Dr. Nancy has a wonderful friendly staff and during the procedure she keeps me calm. Cannot say enough positive things. Just love her!!!

Dr Huynh and her assistant took excellent care of my mother, who is 87. We had attempted a root canal for my mother elsewhere, unsuccessfully. In the care of Dr Huynh and her assistant, the root canal was a much easier process for my mother, and successful! They were very caring, and kind to her, and did an excellent job.
